Unsanitary conditions, 22 hours to show up!
My family stayed at Sonder 211 M 7th in Nashville TN on December 22-25. The sheets were we found bugs, hair, and crumbs in the sheets one one bed and the sofa bed (see photos), and a brown smear (blood?) on one of the top sheets. The walls were dirty with brown food, black handprints and scuffs. The floors weren’t vacuumed and the carpet was stained (photos). The marble table in the living room was broken. I called (seven times) and exchanged more tgan a dozen texts in which I was promised this would be addressed. Because one of our party is immunocompromised, I asked to be relocated but the phone rep said they said they had no space left at the property which we know was not true. We were told housekeeping would take care of the problem and we could not occupy the property while it was being cleaned. We stayed out of the rental for 6 hours (we were asked to vacate at 9 a.m.), but it was 22 hours between our request for a sanitary place to sleep before someone showed up (a borrowed employee from another hotel) only to change sheets and vacuum. This compromised severely our Christmas holiday. Thankfully American Express, (the booking agent), contacted the supervisor and got someone in immediately to clean. To this date, I received a $100 credit for the inconvenience but no response to my request to speak with supervisor (3 days!). I write this review in hopes that other families consider seriously what they see online vs. what they get.
