Had a recent two-night stay at Kasa Downtown Austin. I’m normally a hotel guy, not AirBnB/apartment rental or anything without a front desk staff, so was a bit apprehensive about trying Kasa.
It exceeded all my expectations. The pre-stay communication (how to check in, navigate the building, etc.) was super-clear, and the codes all worked seamlessly when I arrived.
The apartment was spacious, clean (except for a previous guest’s uneaten Ben & Jerry’s in the back of the freezer), the bed was comfortable, and the washer/dryer worked great. I appreciated the kitchen supplies, towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc.
Only downsides were the building (not much personality and not terribly secure) and the fitness center (small and not very well-equipped). Solid location in the middle of the action in Austin. I’m still a hotel person first, but would definitely come back here especially on an extended trip where a washer/dryer comes in handy.
