Love this place. Perfect place if you are traveling alone or w/ your s/o. I was concerned about the heat, I was able to get a heater from the lobby that worked perfect.

Beautifully decorated inside and outside of the room. Modern and clean kitchen appliances and bathroom. No odor and not much street noise (but could easily hear people in the hall occasionally). Ample amount of parking spaces in parking lot. Check in/check out was quick and simple. Great walkable location close to grocery stores, gas station, shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. Our only problem, which was actually a big problem, was the temperature. It does state there is no thermostat in the room, but I never imagined how cold our room would be. The window was unable to fully close due to a fan/humidifier hook up. It was down to 20° outside and our room felt about 55°. Not nice to come in from the cold to…luckily bed was comfy and we cuddled for warmth lol overall good spot! I would pack a space heater next time!

10/10 ! Amazing little apartment style stay. Super friendly staff on messages couldn’t of been better. For sure coming back in the summer time!

This place was just PERFECT. In town for three weeks so it was important that it be as good as it was. Kitchen area had everything needed….shower was fabulous and the bed sooo comfortable. The double lock to get into the place and then my room was so safe. All my questions were answered so quickly, and so kindly!! I’ve already been recommending this place to folks and I know I will be back! Thanks so much!!!

Clean place with clear instructions

Small room with a bad set up to watch TV. You can only watch the TV from a chair located 3 ft away from it. Not set up for that. Pre-check steps are difficult to follow if you book the same day. Needs lighting at night as it gets pretty dark around.

All in all, great place to crash for the night. However, a total of $200+ was a little hefty for what you get when compared to other Airbnb’s / hotels. Still would recommend if you’re in a pinch

We had a lovely stay. This is now our favorite place to stay when visiting our kids.

This was our first time staying at Kasa Edison. It was so much nicer than staying at a hotel. Great location. Quiet. The surrounding neighborhood is very pretty. Grocery store is within walking distance. The kitchenette was a nice amenity to have. It worked perfectly for us. We will be back.

Whimsical decor, clean, fabulous location at a very reasonable price. The staff were always responsive and helpful. Cannot say enough; bests extended stay hotels by a long shot! Highly recommend!

Is clean and close to everything

Beautiful and spacious room! The location was perfect only a mile from southend with some nice restaurants a couple minutes away. Within walking distance to freedom park.

Clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for those who need to be near the hospital. I felt pretty safe here as well. I did not like the virtual front desk system, because I’d rather talk with an actual person and know someone is available to handle any issues. But I WOULD stay here again. The bed was VERY comfortable and the even the pillows were perfect. That NEVER happens. My sister was staying downstairs and her curtains didn’t even come close to closing. We had to rig up something to cover it as best we could. Other than that and something weird with the exhaust fan, it was great. I do hate the art, but that’s just personal taste. (Why would a woman be laying in a plate of spaghetti with someone pouring sauce on her?) For a tiny space, everything is well thought out. I would recommend them getting better chairs, a second chair or a little couch for the rooms. The kitchen had everything a person would need. Someone had taken the hook near the sink off in my bathroom, but it just meant being more creative with hand towel placement. I felt like the place was really clean as well. My mom has cancer so I will probably be staying here again for her future surgeries and treatment.

No Privacy This room was good except for the curtains which made it impossible to have privacy (and also not good for safety reasons). The room was on street level at the intersection of 2 roads with windows on both sides that were nearly floor to ceiling. The curtains would not even come close to closing, though. I was fortunate to have an extra blanket in my car that I propped up with whatever I could find to hold it up in order to not have everyone looking in on me during the night. Someone still could have seen into the room from a window in the building across the street, but that was the best I could do for my stay. One other problem with the room was that the hooks in the bathroom were only stick-on hooks that were not strong enough to hold clothes or towels on. For those in need of an accessible room, it should be noted that, while the bathroom and bedroom is mostly wheelchair friendly, someone confined to a wheelchair will not be able to close or open the curtains as they are not on a track and one of the windows is blocked by the bed. I was able to get that curtain closed only with help.

The building is in a great location, walkable neighborhood and shops. Believe the other reviews that say you will hear everything and every one in these rooms. I suggest headphones or some noise canceling device.

Great place, very clean. Rooms were a little small but nothing major! This was my first time booking and I’ll definitely be booking again!

Great place a excellent location. Easy to find and get in. Has everything you need. Space is small but very efficient. Only comment is you can’t adjust the temperature. Host responded and adjusted though.

Very nice and clean, very good communication and friendly staff. Definitely will be staying there again my next trip to Charlotte.

Spotlessly clean, easy entry, fast communication. The space is very small, which was not unexpected but which may not be so clear from the photographs. My only ungranted wish would be a manual deadbolt on the inside of the room door for more personal security/peace of mind. Overall a terrific stay in a lovely neighborhood.

Nice overall with a few small issues. Likes: Easy check in/out. Quiet stay. Decently appointed kitchenette. Dislikes: Window would not open (stuck shut?) and room was always stuffy. Thermostat did not seem to work. A lamp bulb was out. TV was pretty awkwardly placed for viewing. A bit cramped for two. Desk area has no natural light.

Don’t ever go to Kasa Edison

For me, this is luxury. I have a large bathroom and a studio kitchen. The water is hot and plentiful! Bed is comfortable.

KASA CHARLOTTE I had a small studio. Large shower with plenty of hot water. Small kitchen which I could have used for cooking but many close restaurants with good food. I made copius amounts of tea. Two grocery stores close by. Bed and bedding were comfortable. The neighborhood was very walkable which Iliked.

Generally easy to access the room with the provided instructions. It was clean and organized on my arrival. There were some issues one of the nights with noise and disruption from other units but that’s difficult to control. I would consider adding a check out tab with any instructions similar to the check in process so guests know they’re leaving things as requested.

Kasa Edison House was a fabulous alternative to a hotel or AirBnB, serving our needs perfectly for our stay in Charlotte. Our unit was clean, well kept, well stocked and comfortable. The price was great. We will use Kasa again in our travels!

Very easy to access, comfortable and clean

We had a FANTASTIC stay at Kasa Edison House. The room was so clean and comfortable. They added so many little touches that were very meaningful. It felt like we weren’t staying in a hotel which was a great feeling. We did some food shopping while there and we were so pleased with how stocked the kitchen was with all the tools we could ever need. The area itself is so safe and beautiful. Lots to do in the area too. We never had issues with parking and it was so easy to get around. The courtyard was so nice to sit and relax in. We ate and had wine out there. It was so nice. It also seemed that all rooms were booked but the hallways were very quiet and we barely saw anyone. Lastly, the staff was wonderful. We never saw them, but they were so accommodating and responded to any questions we had immediately. We will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family. A wonderful place for a great price. Thank you so much!
