Perfect location!

First the good: great location close to beach and numerous good restaurants. Then the bad: The most frustrating place we’ve ever stayed including other “virtual” hotels. They advertised a front desk person on staff from ?9 am- 7pm. Never saw a person there. We had 2 rooms. In one of them the shower leaked and water ran all the way to the sink. We used most of our towels to mop up the mess that was not only a slipping hazard but an electrocution risk if you used an electrical appliance. It continued to leak for 3 days. In the 3 days we were there no one came to address the problem but we were assured the team was on it. Extra towels were supposed to be available at the front desk but the cupboard was empty for all 3 days. We woke up the second day with itchy bites on our faces. Not sure what from but they weren’t there when we went to bed. We requested clean sheets and again were told the team was aware. I finally found a worker’s room with three employees who provided me with towels and clean sheets. The valet parking was a bit confusing but worked out fine with a little help finding it. I really think having an employee on site would have solved a lot of our frustrations.

Absolutely bad situation! I paid for my room and after 2 days the hotel (the computer system) cancelled my order! I tried another room and the cheapest room was more expensive than the one I booked before, which was much bigger and better equipped! I don't understand how in 2026 they can make such a business mistake!

Great stay and great staff ! Be aware: Art Deco district is a lively, very late evening neighborhood Likes: Very clean hotel, spacious rooms. Very comfortable mattress, friendly and responsive staff (available only by phone or SMS). They kindly moved me to a room in the back which are very quiet. !!! My first stay in Miami - The whole Art Deco neighborhood is busy and lively from 8pm till 1am. Not the fault of the hotel !!! At this price range (my budget), lightsleepers should choose a hotel a few streets away, or request a back room (but it is a 50-50 chance of getting it, like everywhere else) Dislikes: Pre arrival instructions are helpful but arriving at night makes the entrance hard to find due to restaurant tables and crowds. !! Not the fault of the hotel : the whole Art Deco neighborhood is busy and lively from 8pm till 1am !! For rooms in the front, an indoor double soundproofing windows (or a heavy curtain) should be installed, just in the bedroom. It would definitely make a big difference

Really liked the location. Very central and close to the beach. Rooms are nice. I know some complain about the lack of an elevator, but I am 70 years old and had no problems getting the luggage up to the room.

The same day we checked in. During the evening after taking showers, my partner returns to the bathroom to use it and he finds, what we think were "termite ants" infestation on the towel on the bathroom floors. When prompted to the property administration to get this looked into and either place us in a different room or request for partial/full refund of our stay. They processed to seem like they'll have someone come into the room to see the issue and later on in the day, say they came to the room to "bug spray" it. They ended up lying and never even came to address the issue seeing as we spent the majority of the day in our hotel room and the towel where the bugs were on was still in the bathroom. I definitely won't be booking here again seeing as they should have at least compensated us a partial refund for insect infestations (that's a liability of any property owner to compensate their customers) and the unprofessionalism of staff not coming to the suite to check out and resolve the issue or even find a different lodging for us to stay at after the complaint.

This is a completely self service hotel. It operates similar to an air bnb. There is no one on site. All support is remote via text or phone. If you show up early, you will have to wait until 10 minutes before check in time (4pm) to get your room assignment and door code. Even then, your room might not be ready. That being said, the one bedroom room was spacious. The furnishings were adequate, but minimal, and in fair condition. The bed was comfy. The location is in the middle of a pedestrian street surrounded on both sides by restaurants and bars. The street is very busy and noisy at night, but inside the room was quiet enough. They provide a white noise generator and earplugs.

I enjoyed it very much. The room was nice and convenient with the refrigerator and stove top. They were a lot of restaurants on a Español way that we tried two or three. I would go again.

Likes: The room was suitable. Dislikes: There was no reception, you must text, very impersonal, very late and inflexible checkin.

What an amazing location. This was the most perfect place to be for our group two people per room and the price was very reasonable for the amount of covering outside our door. We ended up extending our stay for two additional days (weather related flight cancelations) and Kasa was accommodating with keeping us in the same room, easing our disruptions. Would recommend and we will stay here again!

This place is right at the famous Española Street. There is no receptionist at the door. Right before check-in they sent you a code for the outside door, and the code for the inside door. It’s an older Spanish style building and I didn’t see any elevator. My room was facing the backstreet so it was quite, but if your room is facing front street, it may get noisy because of the famous street. There are so many restaurants outside. There is also a common lounge that you can use microwave or sit at the balcony while eating your food. TV has no channels, but you can connect your cell phone or computer and watch YouTube. Bed was comfortable. Hot water was good. Internet worked well. There was coffee. You can also store your luggage for a couple of hours if you text them. They also have bikes for rental in the building. If you wanna check out late, they charge you.

Amazing location and clean room.

For the location, price, cleanliness, and amenities this place was great for us. The street is a very popular destination full of restaurants and shops, not ideal if you are looking for a quiet place, perfect for a group of friends. Walkable proximity to ocean drive night life and south beach. Rental unit provided beach chairs and coupons for local restaurants which was an additional bonus! Host was extremely responsive and flexible with luggage storage, and check-in/out. Water pressure is less than ideal but overall would book this location again. Thank you !

Wonderful Stay My husband and I returned to Miami after a cruise only to find out that our flight home was canceled for several days due to weather conditions up north. We found Kasa El Paseo online and decided to book a kasa for a few days. We were blown away by the location and cleanliness. The location is perfect for everything. Restaurants and shops right outside and only a 3 block walk to the beach. The staff was also wonderful and accommodating. If we return to Miami Beach in the future, we will certainly be booking here again. Highly recommend.

Habitaciones frías Likes: Me gustó: la ubicación, cerca de la playa y en una calle pintoresca. El edificio y la decoración de la habitación. Que tuviera servicio de cafetera y que te dejen toallas para usar en playa. Dislikes: Que no haya ascensor y que las habitaciones no estén preparadas para el frío. Estuve en uno de los días más fríos de febrero y la habitación estaba congelada y al ir a poner la calefacción vi que sólo salía aire frío. Eran las 23:00 h. y a esa hora no había nadie en Recepción. Les escribí por WhatsApp pidiendo ayuda. Me dijeron que no es posible tener calefacción, sólo aire acondicionado, que no están acostumbrados a las bajas temperaturas y las habitaciones no están preparadas para ello. Pedí entonces una estufa o radiador pero tampoco fue posible, me dijeron que fuese a Recepción y buscara una manta en los armarios. Encontré una manta por ahí en un armario de Recepción, hecha una bola y con eso al menos no pasé frío dentro de la cama aunque el resto de la habitación seguía congelada, ya que las ventanas tampoco aislaban demasiado. Si reservas asegúrate de que sea cuando haga buen tiempo.
