We recently stayed here and had a very mixed experience. The apartment itself was awesome — clean, stylish, and exactly what we expected. I’d easily give the unit itself a 5/5.
Unfortunately, the couch mattress was basically springs covered by a thin layer of fabric — extremely uncomfortable. Maintenance did bring a nice topper, which we appreciated, but once it was added the couch would no longer close properly, creating another inconvenience.
During our stay, we dealt with a water leak that caused standing water in one of the bathrooms and water seeping up through the floorboards. It took five days to repair. The frustrating part is that it appeared to be a simple water tank seal replacement — something that should have been handled quickly but wasn’t. There was little sense of urgency from maintenance and communication throughout the process was poor.
When the leak was finally fixed, the maintenance crew left the bathroom with our towels thrown on the floor, as shown in the attached photos. There was no attempt to provide fresh replacement towels or acknowledge the inconvenience, which felt careless and unprofessional.
On top of that, our request for a 60-minute late checkout was granted, then taken away, granted again, taken away again, and finally honored — an unnecessary and exhausting back-and-forth.
For nearly $5,000, we expected a much more professional experience. The apartment gets a 5, but management and maintenance get a 1. This was our first stay with Kasa and will likely be our last — there are too many other options at this price point to justify this level of service.
