8/10 Very good
My experience at Kasa La Flora was overall decent and a good option for the price point. Here’s a detailed breakdown:
Pros:
• Self Check-in: The self-check-in process is quick and convenient, eliminating the need to wait at a traditional front desk. However, it does come with some limitations.
• Clean Rooms: The rooms are tidy, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay.
• Responsive Customer Support: Customer service is easily accessible via text or their online link, and they usually respond within a few minutes.
Cons:
• Strict Check-in/Check-out Policies: Early check-in is not allowed, and there’s a $50 fee for late check-out (even for just 2 hours). Many guests, including myself, had to wait until 3:30 PM to check in, and options for flexibility were often denied by the virtual front desk.
• Limited Room Service: While the rooms are clean upon arrival, there’s no daily housekeeping. This can be inconvenient if you’re staying for more than a couple of days. Additionally, the rooms are slightly small, which may be a concern for those who prefer more space.
Overall, I’d rate Kasa La Flora a solid 3.5–4 stars out of 5. It’s a good budget-friendly option with some modern conveniences but also a few limitations that could be improved.
