(Translated by Google) I chose this hotel in Los Angeles because of the RSAC conference and wasn't familiar with the area. Actually, I didn't know it required self-check-in before booking.
It's important to note that you'll receive an email with a Confirmation Code a couple of days before your trip. You need to use this code to complete about 5 to 7 steps to check-in. You'll receive a keypad code for the main entrance and a room code; no one will be involved in the process.
I didn't receive a Confirmation Code (because I used my company's booking app), so I spent a long time struggling downstairs. The check-in experience was quite poor; it took about 20 minutes to finally get through to customer service, and even then, it took company staff to help me.
The area around the hotel is quite chaotic; you'll see many homeless people on the streets late at night. It gets a bit dangerous after 8 PM, so I suggest considering this location.
If you're coming back from dinner in the evening, I recommend taking an Uber directly to the hotel.
Overall, the hotel is relatively old, but due to the RSC conference, the price is very high.
The hotel has four floors. I was lucky enough to stay on the first floor, so it was easy to reach my room after entering. The room was quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was a TV with news, and a refrigerator was provided.
The bathroom was quite large. Although I heard the water pressure is lower upstairs, it was quite good on the first floor, and the water was very hot.
B1 has a kitchen and lounge area where you can do things and see people eating breakfast.
You can take your trash out and leave it in the hallway near the entrance; someone will collect it. You can also find trash bags in the kitchen and change them yourself.
Room cleaning is an extra charge, so I didn't have my room cleaned or my towels changed during my seven-day stay, but overall it was acceptable.
Overall, the price-performance ratio is good, but the surrounding area is a bit rough; there are quite a few homeless people, which made me feel unsafe. However, there are many good restaurants nearby, so this location is still quite good.
