If you’re looking for a budget experience, you’ll get what you pay for. The check-in experience is easy, and the price for the location is a great deal. However, the cleanliness of the building was below my own standards, the worst offender being our moldy shower curtain. To the credit of Kasa, they sent someone to replace it the next day, but like… why are they letting the shower curtain get that moldy?
The “virtual desk” is pretty efficient, but it’s clearly outsourced to another country and includes some automated reminders that are annoying. For example, the fire alarm went off in our building and we got an automated text to please keep the noise down. It felt creepy knowing that they are monitoring noise levels in our room.
I probably won’t stay at a Kasa again because I’ve learned that it’s not for me. But for budget conscious travelers who just want a place to sleep, it would suit your needs.
