My first AirBnb stay that I had to leave before my first night's sleep, of a booked three nights. Check-in was quite easy, codes are sent to you prior to your stay. The area itself is two blocks to Tenderloin, an area most would like to avoid. There is no thermostat in the room and heat is from old style radiators. Temperature is set by the building and the room felt like a sauna. During my three hour stay, the radiator made rattling sounds continuously for 15 minutes at a time - something most cannot sleep through. When contacting the virtual host, it took 5-10 minutes to speak with an agent whom only provide pre-canned responses and image and video guides. For my heating issue and sound, the video shows that the the rattling noises are normal for 60-90 seconds, as the steam cycle is starting. They offered to send someone to check it the next day, but I needed a decent nights sleep and left for a hotel. The windows single pane, note for units street facing. Rooms are nicely furnished.
