Pet Friendly, Nice Small Room
We enjoyed our stay at Kasa La Monarca for the following reasons: The price was right, the check-in process was unique but very simple, the room was clean, quiet (more on this) and comfortable, the location was ideal and the towels were amazing.
The parking was a bit of an inconvenience as we had to find a garage. the one we chose was at the Masonic Center and it is on a pretty steep hill. It was an amazingly clean and secure lot. The only negative was carting our stuff back up the hill when we left.
The room was comfortable but it was a warm day in SF (74 degrees) so the room was a bit stuffy. We left the window open all night and as you can imagine, there are a lot of city sounds that come in. We mostly slept right thru it.
We chose the hotel for it being pet friendly. We were on the 6th floor so our dog got really familiar with the elevator. No issues there. The room is small but we typically travel in a travel trailer so we are used to it. I would go back and stay there again
