10/10 Exceptional
I've traveled to San Francisco many times for work and fun. I was going to be in the city for two weeks and normally wouldn't take a chance on a new hotel for anymore than a couple days. I took a chance on La Manorca because the room looked spacious, was located near Union Square (technically in Tenderloin FYI), and the price was definitely right if the pictures matched the actual space.
First off, this won't be a typical hotel stay in which you have a key to the front door, check in at the front desk, and get your bed made every morning. It's managed by Kasa Living which automates much of that. Knowing that going in wasn't much of a surprise when I had to punch in a code to get into the hotel (and into my room), no turndown service, or calling the front desk.
Turns out I don't need that. Any issues I would text Kasa and they responded immediately (even when I needed new towels and TP, minutes later I had some at my front door - though that's not promised). At the price I booked the room at, it was nice to have a relatively-spacious room (by SF standards), FAST and free Wifi, a refrigerator, and microwave. They also had a smart TV (roku-esque). The room decor was minimal and modern and clean. La Manorca also has a large common are on the basement floor with a full kitchen, couches, coffee maker, utensils, tables to work from, and a large screen TV.
I would have no problem staying at La Manorca again if the price was right.
