Description

Kasa Lake Shore Chicago offers spacious, furnished apartments for short and extended stays, steps from Lake Michigan, Navy Pier, and the Magnificent Mile. Each tech-enabled unit has a full kitchen, in-unit laundry, and access to co-working areas, offering more space than a hotel for business and leisure travelers. I can honestly say this is my favorite place I've stayed in all my trips to Chicago. The location is unbeatable, close to the lake and Navy Pier, and walking distance to the Magnificent Mile. After a long day at Lollapalooza, not having to trek far back was huge. The sixth floor terrace was a highlight. Such a great spot to unwind and hang out. My room was spotless, and having a full kitchen was a game changer. No running around trying to find food or snacks while we were getting ready to go out, and after a long day at the festival it was so nice to come back and already have food waiting in the fridge instead of having to figure out where to eat. The staff made the stay even better. I ran into one of them during my visit and got some great local recommendations for things to do in the area, always nice to have that kind of insider info. They were also quick to help with any questions I had about the property. Honestly it just felt way more comfortable than a regular hotel, like having your own place in the city. Made an already great weekend even better. 100% staying here again next time I'm in Chicago.

Easy breezy urban meadow view It was just me and my daughter and it was quite a sweet suite. We were able to cook breakfast everyday with the amount of equipment in their kitchen. We were even able to do laundry. Everything is organized and very tidy. Not event a speck do dust. The check in and check out was very clear and easy. We are definitely going to use Kasa again. The location is as a block away from Ohio beach, and a few blocks from the magnificent mile, we were very pleased for the their central location to everything we wanted to do. We especially enjoyed the urban meadow we got to look out upon. Such a beautiful addition to the city backdrop.

We had a very comfortable stay at Kasa Lake Shore! - The staff were very friendly and helpful. - The King size studio was more spacious than expected - The AC was great - The water pressure for the shower head and sinks were good - Plenty of clothes hangers and pillows - TV was easy to use - Good location: walkable to many places and transit friendly - We really appreciate the handwritten card and goodies left for us to celebrate our special occasion We would recommend Kasa Lake Shore to anyone coming to Chicago!

Perfect for our weekend in the city! Great location. Studio room was perfect. Full kitchen. Walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. All virtual check-in. Everything communicated through text which was fine for us. If you’re looking for a 24 hour desk clerk, not the place to rent. Parking garage lets out right in the complex. We loved it and would stay again.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this listing. Apartment is brand new, clean, spacious, private, and incredibly peaceful, with a view of lake Michigan. Great amenities, comfortable bedroom, and spacious bathroom. I would 100% stay here again.

Getting around

Kasa Lake Shore Chicago is in one of Chicago’s most walkable neighborhoods, with a Walk Score of 94. Restaurants, coffee shops, the lakefront, Navy Pier, and the Magnificent Mile are all easy to reach on foot, with flat, well-lit streets throughout the area.

For trips beyond the neighborhood, public transit is a convenient option. CTA buses, including the #66, #146, and #151, run nearby and connect you to downtown, the Loop, and Lincoln Park. The Red Line stations at Grand/State and Chicago/State are also a few blocks west, making it easy to travel north or south through the city.

Biking is another great way to get around. Divvy bike-share docks are located throughout the area, including convenient spots for a lakefront ride or a quick trip downtown. Rideshare and taxis are typically easy to find, and there are parking options available nearby if you plan to drive.

For air travel, Chicago is served by two major airports: O’Hare International Airport (ORD), about 18 miles away, and Midway International Airport (MDW), about 12 miles away.
