Kasa LES is a 3 minute walk to Delancey Essex subway (trains/undergound/metro) meaning you can go everywhere quickly and easily (24/7/365). Our unit (44 on the fourth floor) was spacious, comfortable, well supplied with towels, fridge, micro, 8 complimentary Nespresso coffee pods, kettle, large comfortable bed and pillows, shower, bath, clothes hanging, space for luggage. Their description was accurate and Kasa offers fair value by Manhattan standards. The price quoted was all inclusive without any surprise tax/surcharge BS.
Go straight to Essex Market next to the subway entrance to check out the food offerings. It's a great place to eat good quality, good value food in chilled surroundings. You can also buy raw ingredients/groceries at E.M. E.M opens 8 am to 7 or 8pm depending on which food/drinks outlet you choose.
Katz deli is 8 mins walk away serving the best pastrami in real, no nonsense character surroundings....it's great.
