The apartment was perfect for our stay. It was clean, bed was very comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet for being right in the middle of things in the lower east side. The apartment had everything you needed and was walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do and see. I did feel it was not the best value for this neighborhood, but I guess that’s just the new prices for these kinds of places. With all the taxes and the fees, it came out to over $300 a night. And we were quite disappointed in the fact that they wouldn’t negotiate some kind of discount with us when our flight was canceled and we had to arrive a day late (missing and paying for our first night there - out of 5 nights). Again, I guess that’s their policy and their prerogative, but it would’ve been nice of them to have helped us somehow. Next time (if there is) I would book directly with the hotel and not go through this website.

Kasa ist sehr zu empfehlen; zeitgemäss ausgestattet; sehr sauber und top erreichbar; guter Support, wenn es notwendig ist. Subway gleich um die Ecke! Chinatown und Little Italy zu Fuss schnell erreichbar.

The space was bigger than it looks in the photos, the bed was comfy and the room was clean. The only issue I had was that the shower had an odor.

My Kasa apartment has been my little oasis in the middel of the bustling city!

This is a great spot with great hosts. The location is great for many reasons (subway access, restaurants, bars, etc). Kasa is also very responsive to any requests and their systems enabled a really easy check-in.

Tolle Unterkunft mit gemütlichem Bett! Einen Kühlschrank zu haben war auch von Vorteil. In der Nähe sind direkt Bahnstationen und Restaurants. Es war alles sehr gut.

Really enjoyed our stay. The space was clean, pretty large relative to my usual NYC experience, great coffee maker, fridge; comfee day bed and good light by the windows. The neighborhood is well connected by subway and a thousand cabs. Long walk to most of our fave sites, but that’s no problem. Owners were clear and proactive and friendly. Thanks!

Great place would love to stay again

Excellent base in the LES. Spacious and clean and good transport links. We had a king room and the bed was so comfy. Bathroom and kitchenette also really great. Online messaging system worked well. Would definitely want to stay again and would recommend.

A very nice place to live, everything was very clean, quite spacious and new furniture. Towels super clean and smelled good. The house itself was quiet and calm, quite safe. And the area is very convenient for restaurants and shopping.

great place, nice bed. very easy to get around with the subway so close. bit loud on a Friday night but that's to be expected. overall my partner and I loved it.

First, we must say that our son lives in NYC and we have visited many times. If you are coming from the country and expect to have a spacious dwelling, then you are going to have to pay dearly for those limited accommodations. This may seem small, but is actually bigger than apartments for some people in NYC. We thought it was an awesome place to stay. It was spacious for our needs. It was very quiet for NYC. The neighborhood was safe and the location was secure. Due to the location it was easy to obtain a cab or get on the subway. We were not particularly looking for things to do in the neighborhood, but there were things to do there. Across the street was Double Chicken Please, which we did not checkout due to the 2 to 3 hour wait to get inside. Russ and Daughters restaurant was a great place to eat in a nostalgic environment. The Tenement Museum was across the other street. Then just down the street was Essex Market. We really enjoyed our stay at Kasa.

I had a really lovely stay during my weeklong trip to New York. The location is incredible, with easy access to the Delancey-Essex metro station and all of the fun stuff in LES/East Village. The room itself is great, definitely the biggest room I’ve ever stayed at in New York. Having a tub was really a game changer as well; it was perfect for soaking in after all those long days of walking around. I did have an issue with accessing the building initially, but the virtual front desk was very responsive and matter was resolved immediately!

My mom and I decided to stay at Kasa for our first time visiting NYC and we were extremely happy with the accommodation. The location in the LES was perfect for us first timers as we were able to reach all kinds of different areas either by the metro or most of the times just by foot. The Communication with the Host was easy, helpful and very fast! We’d love to stay here again next time <3

Spacious and super clean apartment on lower Manhattan. Kitchentte was sufficient for some simpler cooking. Good location, walkable to e.g. World Trade Center or even Empire State. Neighbourhood was also ok. Very comfortable king bed and linen and a luxurious bath tub. We also enjoyed the balconies/terrace on the upper floors with the view on the Midtown. The apartment was a bit dark as there is only one big window in the front, however, there were many different lights inside. Well isolated from the outside - but not from the inside, you hear the neighbours a lot. We had a nice stay but the apartment might have been a bit overpriced. We missed the opportunity to store our luggage at the property.

We stayed at Kasa for 12 nights and loved the location and building. Our room was large, clean, and functional, but we had small issues with the wifi, getting clean towels mid-stay, and inconsistent hot water (many cold showers). I felt like a complainer contacting Kasa support with these problems, but when you're paying close to $500 AUD per night, you expect things to work. The biggest concern was the broken bed. After one night of both rolling into the middle with our legs above our heads, we discovered all the middle support legs were missing, the top support was snapped, and the wooden slats were breaking. The bed was completely broken. We contacted Kasa and were told, "thanks for dealing with it." At checkout, we were accused of not checking out on time, which we did, and it was only then, when I brought up the bed issue that were we offered a partial discount (enough to cover one night's stay). This overall experience led to my less than satisfactory review.

The space was exactly what I wanted, great location, clean, and safe. I was impressed by the size of the room and appreciated the kitchenette amenities. Besides the occasional siren (expected in any city), it was really quiet. Easy check in and check out, no issues.

생각보다 넓은 공간으로 편하게 지낼수맀어 좋았습니다. 깔끔하고 좋은 위치에 만족스런 경험이었습니다. 창문은 있으나 열리지읺고 층고가 낮아서 방안에 있으면 공간대비 답답한 느낌이 있습니다. 아주 작은 추가적인 바램은 타올의 품질이 조금 좋아지기 바랍니다. 전체 가격대비 너무 기숙사 타올을 사용해서 아쉬웠습니다.

this place felt right in the middle of lower east side so it was a bit noisy but central to a lot of things. easy access to the subway to go between Manhattan and Brooklyn. the place itself was very clean and bigger than expected. we used the tub to unwind after long days of walking. the bed was super comfortable.

Convenient place to stay in LES for a reasonable price. Fully digital management made check-in super easy. Extremely clean.

We were pleasantly surprised by the apartment - good size and location. Only downside was an electrical fault that caused us to be without power for part of the stay and which was not resolved before checkout.

King-sized bed with mini kitchen Pros: Seamless, contactless service, very clear check-in instructions, key pad to enter facility and room (you dont need a card to scan), very functional elevator, lots of space to walk around and store luggage, very modern interior design that is simple yet stylish, mini kitchen has all the kitchen supplies you can ask for, malin+goetz shampoo/conditioner/hand soap/body lotion were great, very nice hair dryer, large body mirror, closet with ironing table/iron, luggage rack, provided laundry detergent pods with free laundry room (greatest convenience), TV cast system from smartphone, nice couch bed to lounge on next to the window, A/C and heat system is decent, bed was super comfortable with 4 pillows already provided, shower has hot water (make sure to let the water run for a few minutes to get warmer), extra toilet paper and trash bags were provided, 3 minute walk to Delancey-Essex station, walkable distance to hot spots in the area, everytime i enter the lobby, im greeted by a nice scent Cons: wifi was bad (super slow), i had to use my own data for internet, water pressure for shower was weak, outside patio is tiny, i was on the 5th floor and could still hear car honks here and there but still tolerable (but what's nyc without the car honks), walls were thin (i woke up to someone else's alarm from across the floor lol) (If you want extra towels and such, you can request them ahead of time or you can acquire from the closet) Overall, I will book Kasa Lantern LES again whenever I come back for a visit (i hope the wifi will be better by then).
