Es war wirklich toll! Nicht zu viel versprochen!

Good spot near lots of nice food options and convienient transport. Good amenities incluing microwave, fridge, kettle and coffe machine (supplied with coffee pods which was great). Pretty quiet considering location too- properly sealed windows! Would defo stay here again!

Estancia impecable, la habitación es práctiva y espaciosa y cuenta con una cocina que nos fue muy útil durante nuestra estancia. Alojamiento limpio y bien equipado. La ubicación es bulliciosa, pero muy práctica para desplazarse por toda la ciudad. Los puntos negativos a señalar son la suciedad a la entrada del edificio (deposición de basuras por la noche, olores, ratas) y el hecho de que no hay servicio de limpieza del alojamiento durante toda la estancia (la limpieza de la habitación una vez por semana me parece el mínimo necesario)

Can’t recommend this place enough!!! Amazing location, close to restaurants, bars and the subway. Perfect jumping off point for exploring the city. Really cool building with awesome views of the city. The bed was so comfy, and all of the amenities like the free laundry and kitchen supplies were a really nice touch. Would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at Kasa lantern and overall I had a great experience! The check-in process was super easy, the amenities were fantastic and the bed was very comfortable! Also, there are incredible restaurants within walking distance of Kasa. However, I feel like the room could have been cleaner. There were a few areas especially the shower that could have used a bit more attention. Despite that, I recommend staying at Kasa if you’re looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay! :)

Window very very dirty. No Kitchenette counter available as the microwave is too big . It’s a pity cause there are superb coffe machine and kettles we have to put on the floor to use . All the rest was very good

Great and wonderful space, awesome location near a Duane Reade and bars/shops/coffee. Secure-feeling and spacious room. Only heads up about the second floor rooms is that people on the street level can see inside... but I didn't mind too much at all! Will definitely make this my stay of choice when I visit again. Much better deal than a hotel, hope the prices don't go up!

This property is in a great location is you have a reason to be on the lower east side. The room was super small, but was clean and safe. It is also close to the subway to all parts of NYC.

I'm almost hesitant to write a review because I really don't want the prices to go up here and would love to be able to stay again. Kasa kinda has it dialed. Great location near the F (the best train), awesome room, quiet building. There's nothing not to love, unless you're staying on the 2nd floor and are a little shy — passerbys might be able to see inside if your window's open. But that's a silly knock and I didn't care. Plus, it's NYC so, whatever. I had a great time visiting friends and family back home for 10 days, and was always excited to come back to my temporary home. The room/building felt right. My mom even swung by and was impressed by the space! Will definitely definitely be staying here again if I can afford it. Big ups Kasa!

Our stay at Kasa was marred by a broken door lock, which the team was not able to resolve. Since the hotel is self check-in, and staff are not onsite, there were long delays for us in getting this problem addressed. Aside from that, we thought the room was nice and a great base for a trip to NYC.

This place is very clean and provides you with lots of towels, toiletries, and coffee. It’s cute & cozy and the bed is very comfy. The rooftop deck was super fun too! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was they were unable to accommodate an early check in and I asked 2 months in advance. Other than that I would highly recommend!

Great stay in Manhattan’s LES! Greatful for Kasa and this cool hotel.

Clean, modern, small and comfortable queen room with everything you need. Great spot to explore the lower east side. Easy access with a loading zone out front if you need to unload your car. Public lot just a couple short blocks behind the building.

Great little place on the LES, super convenient with a Starbucks directly downstairs, Walgreens a block over and tons and tons of food options. Subway was also very close by. Room was a bit tight for two people (myself and a 7 yr old), but the room was well laid out with storage/closet space. Very clean and modern space. Loved having access to laundry (pods provided for free too), although we didn't use it, we liked having the option. Elevator was quick. Outside can be a bit loud but if you're staying on the LES, what can you expect? Feels very NYC for me. Very nice view, not many cars drive on the street the building is actually on. Would definitely stay here again.

We thought this was good value. The overall location is convenient, with lots of great bars and restaurants within a short walk. The subway is nearby, as is the very nice and vibrant Public Market facility. The room was clean and comfortable, but pretty dark with only the one window upfront for a narrow, long room. Note that the “TV” is effectively only a screen onto which you can cast from a smart phone. (I missed that in the Airbnb description when booking.) Be aware that the area right outside the front door of the building was, frankly, quite gritty and grimy so be prepared for that. We never felt unsafe, though, and it looked like building management was doing its best to keep the area around the front door of the building as clean as possible. Finally, the host was super responsive online with any questions we had, which was appreciated. We would stay here again (our daughter lives nearby). Only the no-cable/satellite TV would give me pause.

I loved staying at this Kasa studio, it was fantastic. Exactly what I needed. Perfect location; I felt safe. The spot was clean, which I greatly appreciate. The bathroom door wouldn’t close and the team said someone would come fix it, not sure what happened there but it wasn’t a big deal at all. Everything was functional, couldn’t get the tv to work but I don’t watch tv much anyway so it didn’t deduct from the amazing stay I had. The bed was comfy, sheets clean, 10/10 would recommend. Hello there, while I appreciate this amazing location, here are what wasn't working. I found the music in the lobby effecting the second floor rooms, where I was in for 10 days. I voiced concerns, yet the music was still playing. The room itself was very very small, and while the rest of the room is clean, the shower tiles were a little moldy. LES is a rowdy area, no doubt, but the front of the hotel was kept quite messy. There were these two plinths for decoration purposes, but they were literally trashed daily- meaning used condoms, discarded food, or other junk thrown at them. We slept on a mattress that sagged in the middle- could be good for like 2, 3 days, but for 10 days it was not quite comfortable.

The apartment is comfortable and furnished as described. It is well put together, clean, and comfortable. The bed is excellent, and the shower works great. Our concerns are with the lighting, which was insufficient and not in-keeping with the photos, and the difficulty we had communicating with Kasa initially, when an error on my part caused smoke in the apartment, the alarms to go off -window doesn't open-, and the firetruck to come. I tried desperately to communicate with Kasa and kept getting text messages saying "how pleased are you with the interaction." The issue was quickly solved without damage, and from then on, Kasa was very responsive, attentive, and kind to us, extending our departure time by 5 hours and giving us a $15 coupon to Starbucks when the coffee machine did not work. As noted, there should be good overhead lighting so people can see what they are doing. The location is superb, close to ethnic restaurants and museums and parks and more. We would stay again.

I've stayed here twice now and would definitely stay again. The location is excellent- tons of bars and restaurants on the Lower East Side, and you've got Soho, Nolita, Little Italy, Chinatown, and the East Village all short walk away.

Easy self check in, clear instructions. Located in the middle of the Lower East Side and a very short walk to the East Village. Enough great restaurants and cafes and galleries etc to explore for months and months.

Fantastic experience, very clean room, fast communication with staff, easy access to building and located in a very convenient part of town.

Good value for money in comparison with other properties in Manhattan Likes: קרוב לתחנת מטרו (פחות מ5 דק הליכה) המזגן מעולה. מאפשר גם לקרר וגם לחמם די מהר בהתאם לצורך מרחק הליכה להרבה מסעדות, ברים יחסית לחדרים אחרים בניו יורק - די גדול שירותים סטנדרטיים ולא אמריקאיים Dislikes: מיטה מאוד רכה, מי שאוהב כנראה יהיה לו סבבה, לנו היה לא נוח. אין ארון. אין כספת. אי אפשר לפתוח את החלון האזור אמנם מאוד קרוב למסעדות, אבל לא הכי נעים במיוחד בלילה. יש הרבה זבל ברחוב, במיוחד בלילה. זבל ברחוב = חולדות, אז יש לא מעט באזור. אין באמת שירות קבלה. יש את הדרך תקשורת הוירטואלית איתם דרך הצ׳אט באתר, אבל זה מאוד לא יציב והמענה הוא לא כל כך מיידי. האופציה הכי טובה היא להתקשר אבל לא תמיד יש שיחות לחול. במקלחת יש רק זרם מים עליון, בלי דוש מתכוונן. זה ככה ברוב המלונות בניו יורק, אבל לא הכי נוח. חוץ מזה הזרם מים די חלש. החדר אמנם גדול (42 מר), אבל זה לא באמת מייצג, כי רובו מסדרון אחד ארוך שאי אפשר באמת להשתמש בו. בפועל יש מיטה אחת גדולה, עוד ספה קטנה על החלון, מטבחון קטנטנן ופינת ישיבה עם 2 כסאות. אין באמת מקום לפתוח מזוודות או לאן לפרוק. .הבניין הוא על רחוב די ראשי. החדר שלנו היה עורפי אז לא היה המון רעש, אבל מי שמקבל חדר על הרחוב נראה לי שיותר רועש לו הדירה די חשוכה. יש כל מיני אורות שחלקם לא עבדו, אבל בשורה התחתונה אין הרבה אור

Comfortable room, bed and bathroom. I wouldn't call it a studio, but it does have a fridge, microwave, coffee machine and water cooker. Just no crockery or cutlery. Located close to subway and lots of shops and restaurants in the area.

Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience staying at Kasa Lantern on Lower East Side despite some initial, minor issues related to check-in. Having stayed at several service apartments including AirBnB places all over the World, my suggestions to improve on the current place relate to providing better lighting (may be some additional overhead) and an exhaust fan over the cooking range. I will definitely recommend this place when one takes into account location and facilities.

Comfortable and cozy. No kitchen or counter space or closet, so be aware of what you are getting. Bright and comfortable in the room, smells of garbage outside. Close to Delancey subway is a big plus. Also very helpful with check-in and answered texts immediately about the hot water (which was present but took a moment). The internet and TV casting ability — very good.

The Kasa is right in the center of Lower East Side. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The room itself is very clean. It also came furnished with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and even laundry detergent for their laundry room. The bathroom was clean. The room itself was small, but was equipped with a fridge and all the amenities you need for a stay in NYC. Great location, very clean, def recommend!

La ubicación esta perfecta, el metro está muy cerca, es zona de restaurantes muy ricos, súper Mercado, zona segura para caminar de noche. Hay varios bares pero no se escucha ningún ruido, todo muy limpio, espacio Perfecto para dos personas. Plus, las toallas del baño olían muy rico y muy limpias. Regresaremos sin duda.

Great hotel. Minimal, chic and stylish. Muted grey and white interiors, with modern fittings and colourful wall art in the lobby give it a cool personality. Their check-in was completely automated, so I didn't see a soul in the hotel till I bumped into the cleaning lady on my way out. I realised for myself that I prefer the small chats with folks around the hotel, so I might not return, but that's a personal preference. Kasa Lantern folks made their setup clear, so this one's on me. They have a great set up for the urban traveler and I'd highly recommend them for the set up!

The room was bigger than I expected and it came with a big bathtub, which was a major plus after having spent the day walking about. The kitchen came fully equipped and there was even a microwave and Nespresso machine. Highly recommend!
