The apartment was in a new, modern building with excellent amenities like a sauna, gym, and lounge. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a nice bay view, in-unit laundry, and secure parking. The tech-forward check-in process was seamless, and the sweet treats on arrival were a thoughtful touch.
However, construction noise in and around the building was disruptive, starting early most mornings. One evening, street work caused an 8+ hour power outage, leaving the unit without AC, lights, or power. Unfortunately, we weren’t informed, and the $50 compensation felt insufficient, especially as we were evacuated from LA due to fires. When we requested a late checkout to accommodate our service animal, the fee was $100/hour, which felt excessive.
Despite these hiccups, the apartment itself was a great refuge, and the amenities enhanced our stay. Kasa has potential to provide a top-tier experience with better communication and support during challenges.
