You can do better!
Let's begin with the good things (there's only a few). The apartment had a refrigerator, there's a balcony, and the apartment was fair, space wise!
Cons: The apartment wasn't as clean as expected, considering we are in a pandemic. The bath towels and bedding had hair in them. (Luckily, we brought our own towels and clean) The bathtub was dirty and had hair in it! The couch reeked of cigarette smoke. There's construction right across the street, so don't expect peace and quiet. WORST of all, the air conditioner wouldn't go below 73 degrees period, it was uncomfortable to sleep. This was not disclosed prior to purchasing and this would have been a deal breaker. We had to keep all windows and the balcony doors open. It wasn't as cold as usual in Chicago, so keeping the windows open in the room didn't help and the sound of construction was even worse but it was either keep the Windows/doors open or sleep in heat.. They don't accommodate you with fans. Because we had to keep the Windows/door open, every time we came back in the room it smelled like cigarettes or weed and our allergies were killing us bc of the dust from construction. Please consider parking, they offer parking for $48 PER DAY! They expect you to dump your own trash and this would have been ok if we bought an Airbnb, however we purchased on hotels.com so we expected hotel-ish accommodations. We asked for a late checkout, they charge $75 or half the next night's rate depends on time.
