Reviews of Kasa Magnificent Mile ChicagoReviews of Kasa Magnificent Mile Chicago

Excellent experience! We’ll be back.

Nice and clean, very easy check in, central location where you can walk to most things. Very nice stay!

great place in the heart of the magnificent mile. Very easy check in, walkable

El departamento es chico pero muy completo, ideal para parejas. Está en una zona muy turística con todo muy cerca caminando, al haber cerca hospitales es común escuchar ruido de ambulancias pero nada preocupante. Sin duda un buen lugar para alojarse. 100% recomendable.

The room was very clean and smelled wonderful upon arrival. The apartment included a full kitchen that was fully stocked, as well as a washer and dryer in the unit. These apartments are also located in a very secure building.

Great location, comfy and clean. We were there for 2 weeks and it was more like a hotel with just the very basic kitchen stuff.

A very nice place and walkable to many major Chicago attractions!

This apartment was a dream. Super clean and comfortable to stay in, and the hosts are great. The building itself is very safe and secure - special thanks to reception for their warm welcome and regular help! Couple things to be aware of: if you’re arriving near the end of october, the apartment will be freezing until the heat starts up (I bought a space heater). Another thing is you’ll be downtown, and even on the upper floors you hear the sirens pretty loud. Same goes for neighbours if they’re being disruptive. I personally think that comes with the territory of staying downtown in a big city, but worth keeping in mind. Thanks Kasa!

The place was in a convenient spot and the apartment had everything we needed for an extended stay. They were very responsive to all of our needs.

Great place to stay

Staying at Kasa was great! The location was close to many restaurants, bars, public transportation, and things to do. Hosts were very responsive and communicative. It was a great place to stay for a weekend in the city!

So many good things to say- the check in process was so easy, even though we arrived after the Kasa counter was closed. The room was easy to open and was more than enough space for my spouse and I. Finally, the location was perfect for our needs- quite close to magnificent mile and downtown Chicago.

Room worked out well, Nick at the Kasa desk was great. Location was great, would stay again if coming back to chicago

Very nice place in the centre. Got everything I needed and had a wonderful stay!

Apartamento completo, muito bem localizado. Anfitrião respondeu rápido e foi muito atencioso. Voltarei.

Pros: Location is great. Easy access to CTA and a Whole Foods across the street. Easy instructions to access the unit. Washer and dryer was great. The kitchen was lovely Very responsive to texts. Things to be mindful of: The unit is fairly dark. I had to ask for an additional lamp to help with how dark the unit became at night. WiFi was spotty after 5:30 pm. There’s a large gap the sliding glass door has in the bedroom area that makes the unit very cold. I had to have the heat on the entire time I was there.

너무 깔끔하고 위치도 좋았어요~ 추천합니다:)

Really good apartment, completely equipped. Really good location, near everything touristic in walking distance. Good neighborhood and really nice front desk attention. 10/10

Second time using kasa! And just like last time it was a 10/10 experience easy check in and check out will be using again when in town!

Great location. Walkable and lots to do and see in the area.

this was a great place to stay. it was super spacious and had everything we needed plus the location was really great. more flexible late checkout options would have been appreciated. 10am was early for a checkout and $35 for 12pm did seem a little silly.

Great stay

Very convienient location, access to the gym was also great. Thanks Kasa.

Overall excellent property to stay at. Centrally located. Near all the big supermarkets such as whole foods and trader joes. Whole foods includes amazon pick up and drop off. Michigan Avenue is within a few blocks walking distance and the restaurant scene is easy to get lost in as it's right by all the best of the best in the city. I definitely suggest taking advantage of going to Sophia Steak specifically. They made a birthday celebration the most special it could be whilst having the best service and food. Place itself was well staffed. Everyone was willing and able to help with anything and everything. Communication was on point as well. My 2 issues with the stay: we stayed for over 10 nights and there was not enough toilet paper or paper towels to go for that long (also, low quality paper products for the price point I was paying for the place is little off putting) So I ended up buying my own stuff to use for the duration of the stay. The blinds. They are not the best quality and break VERY easily. Any time I opened the shades completely one would break off. They did replace them each time, but I think it's a bit redundant if this is happening all the time. All and all, if staying in chicago for a short or long term stay I would suggest it as it is the coziest, most chicago centered way to be and enjoy the city.

Great stay

Excellent location...lots of light but sadly views were blocked by large bldg so felt a bit confined...walkable..Excellent restaurants and public transportation..easy check in and terrific communication

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kasa. The unit was comfortable and well-appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful; they made sure we had everything we needed. Location was ideal- one block from the red line metro station- easy to get anywhere around the city. Right next to Whole Foods and very close to Trader Joe’s and Aldi too. Would recommend and hope to stay here again.

We loved our stay at Kasa! 5 of us were in town for work and we absolutely loved our stay. The place was beautiful, very spacey, clean, amazing views and super convenient. It was right in the center of everything we needed and within walking distance to cool bars, delicious restaurants, stores and so much more. Kasa was comfortable and had everything in there that we could ever need. Cant wait to go back!

Everything was amazing. Great views

Really clean and nice, would definitely stay again.

We had a nice time at this location. We were very close to everything we needed. Check-in and out was easy. Nice view.

This is a bait and switch. For ethical reasons I avoid the you-know-who vacation stay app, but upon arrival it was immediately clear that’s what this is. Online it looks like a boutique hotel and claims to be a “four star” stay. It is a unit in an apartment building filled with some cheap furniture. The floor was sticky, fixtures were dusty, there was a lot of mold in the tub/shower, the blinds were broken, the mirror was hanging crooked bc it was not anchored to the wall, the rugs had stains, the stovetop was dirty, stains in the closet that appeared to be water damage, and flies randomly appeared. The location was great but that’s about all I can say positively about it. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place nor stay here again.

Room was very clean, staff was responsive, perfect location, so close to the train station and to all the great places in the middle of Chicago!

It’s a bait and switch. I specially avoid Airbnb for ethical reasons, but upon arrival it was clear that’s what this place is. I feel so duped — I want to travel in a conscious way and not contribute to these types of rentals but here we are. I booked through Expedia, where Kasa claimed to be a “four star hotel.” It looked cute and boutique but nope! My room was gross — sticky floors, mold in the tub/shower, clear water damage in the closet, stained rugs, scuffs all over the walls, dirty stovetop, and a thick layer of dust on fixtures. The cheap blinds were broken and the mirror was hanging at an angle because it clearly wasn’t anchored correctly. And random flies? What’s going on here? The location is great and building is secure, those are the positives I will give it. But I’m convinced many of these reviews are bought — this place is a dump! I won’t be returning here and would never recommend it to a friend.

So amazing!! Will definitely be staying here again when my family comes back to Chicago! Had no problems with loud neighbors in surrounding units! Clean space, clean hallways, clean elevators! Soooo walkable and right by everything!

First, the good things. The location is excellent, within walking distance to many things that a visitor might want to do, as well as proximity to several great restaurants. Inside, the linen and towels were nice and of good quality. The closet is very roomy with plenty of hangers. There is an ice maker, which is nice to have. Now the bad things. We had to wipe down the kitchen counters as they were not clean. There was supposed to be a coffee maker but there wasn't. Cabinets & furniture were cheap and not in great repair. The pillows felt like sacks of Portland cement once you put your head on them. The very worst was all of the hair, stuck to the shower wall. It was awful. I don't know how it could have been left that way and wonder how much "cleaning" was actually done before we got there. The bathroom sink drain smelled, had to keep it closed. Not wanting to deal with a corporate entity while on vacation, we did our own cleaning and dealt with it. Missing smoke alarm.

Great location!
