Great base to explore Los Angeles. Brilliant views of the Hollywood sign, we did have an issue with no hot water one morning but this was resolved quickly..

The place was nice and very clean. Our room was pleasantly large with outstanding views! We were there with a couple of other families so the community lounge was a great place to meet up before exploring. The location was good. Walking distance, within half mile, to several places to eat.

It was an amazing stay more than we expected definitely will consider again.

Likes: Very spacious flat with fully equipped kitchen, huge walk-in wardrobe and desk area. Dislikes: They were too eager to charge my credit card payment, 4 months in advance. I would have paid less if they took the payment a few weeks before my stay, as the exchange rate changed, so I am bit bitter. This is the first hotel in my life to take the payment so early. Our other hotel in LA (we had two during our stay) did not do this, so it is not that it is a policy in US. They blocked two times the depsit on my credit card. It took 15 days for the one and 20 days for the other to revert. Again, I used the same card, but the other LA hotel released the deposit immediately, so it was not my bank. We exchanged many messages to the hotel, gave them a chance to make it right, but I am not even sure I was speaking to an actual person. The carpet is stuck on the floor with some tape that is exposed and dirty.

We had a great experience at Kasa Sunset. The apartment was very clean and spacious, with a comfortable double bed, a bathroom with a bath, and a fully equipped kitchen. We also appreciated the communal laundry room available for use by the customers for free. The apart-hotel is located on Sunset Boulevard, within walking distance of Hollywood Boulevard and the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Bus stops were not far from the apartment, and the underground station was a 15-minute walk away. However, public transportation may take a while to reach from one place to another, so taxis are a quicker option. Even though we didn’t use it, off-road car spaces are available for a fee.

We stayed here for 12 days in LA, the apartment itself was really nice, clean, fully stocked and had a great kitchen to cook in. The check in process however was extremely difficult, after being told over the phone before our trip everything had been paid for we were told we had to pay $355 usd for parking that we were told was included and either a $250 security deposit or $80 non refundable option. After seeing reviews of people not getting their deposit back we opted for the $80 non refundable option as we didn’t trust there system of getting it back. This would have been helpful if they told us this on the phone when we paid for our booking… Our stay was pretty good as other reviewers say it is quite loud due to LA being a busy city but that’s ok. However at the end of our stay we heard odd noises coming from our shower and black dirty water bursted up through the drain. We had to call the support number and they advised us someone would come out the next day and couldn’t advise us of a specific time. We waited until 2pm and nobody showed up. We ended up telling support to not bother as this was the last 2 days of our trip and we didn’t want to spend it waiting around for a maintenance man to come up. This was just frustrating. I understand that a virtual check in with no hotel staff has its benefits for some, but when you need assistance or something goes wrong it’s really hard to deal with when you’re on vacation and we shouldn’t have had to. If you are going to stay here be warned if anything happens you are only able to contact an online customer service number you will have to wait on hold for…

Highly recommend! Our accommodation was excellent. The suite was very modern, spacious, incredibly clean and well set up for our stay. The bed was very comfortable. Towels were soft and smelled freshly laundered. Cute touches of light refreshments, tea and coffee. Thoughtful ideas of earplugs and white noise speaker if you’re a light sleeper - although we did not need these as it wasn’t noisy at all. The secure underground parking was also handy! Great location and easy to get around either by walking or uber! Would definitely stay here again.

Likes: Great location, clean, and nice view on hollywood sign, easy self check in. Dislikes: One of the walls (with windows) was completly covered by advertising billboard ruining the view on one side and making the room very dark (it was not mentioned in the offer nor shown on pictures). We were 4 guests but there was only 1 duvet, we had to wait 2 days (from 3 days stay) to get a second set of sheets.

Comfortable and worth it Likes: Loved being self contained, was comfy and definitely like a home away from home! Dislikes: Lack of toilet roll hahah!

The rooms were nicely designed and very comfortable. The apartment was spacious, bright and sunny with massive windows that ran across the length of the rooms. The apartment was fully furnished with everything we needed, and we enjoyed having a big-screen TV to watch Netflix. It was also very convenient to have the gym and laundry facilities included. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Kasa and would definitely book here again the next time we are in LA.

This place was huge — the pics don’t do it justice! Really nice view through the wall length windows. My only critique is that the bed was quite hard.

We had a great few days at Kasa sunset, the apartment was spacious and clean with a great view out to the Hollywood Hills. We had a problem on the first day with our air conditioning and they were quick to get it inspected and decided it was in need of repair. However we were then offered an apartment on a much lower floor with no view and of a lower grade.After some discussions back and forth via email Kasa found apartments on the upper floors for us and we moved. We were happy with the outcome, but felt that initially they did not put the customer first and were prepared to downgrade us rather than ensure we were looked after. As with other reviews, if there is a problem, my advice would be to be persistent with what you require as a customer to make your stay the best.

Nice and clean I stayed at The Hotel during a recent trip to LA, and overall, it was a great experience. The hotel is centrally located, just minutes from downtown and close to several major attractions like The Grove and LACMA, which made getting around very convenient. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a great city view. Housekeeping did a great job each day, and the front desk staff were always polite and helpful. I appreciated the little touches—like complimentary water bottles and fast check-in. especially at sunset. There’s also a small fitness center which was good enough for a basic workout. My only minor complaint was that parking was a bit expensive, which is typical for LA, but still worth noting. If you're looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in LA that balances value and style is a solid choice.

The place was big and nice. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were really tough. I don’t like the fact I could get the ac below 71 degrees and I woke up sweating every night.

Loved it! Great space! Location was perfect and safe. Within walking distance to Hollywood attractions. Had everything I needed. I arrived early and was able to store my luggage in a locked room with lockers until check-in time. Security guard, Zach, was present at night and did a great job. Would definitely stay here again!

Dislikes: The last day the shower was extremely cold. That is the only complaint otherwise everything was great!
