10/10 Exceptional
Although I only stayed for one night while in San Francisco for a medical appointment, I was blown away by this hotel. Arriving at 1 AM, I was exhausted, so I was incredibly thankful that I could use the app to check in and head straight to my room without waiting for a front desk.
I’ve stayed in hotels all across the country, and none have compared to the unique atmosphere, thoughtful design, and location of The Hotel Castro. Despite having only 12 rooms, the hotel felt incredibly well planned. I especially loved having a private balcony with a beautiful view of the Castro, a spacious and comfortable bed, and a room that was cleverly designed to maximize every inch of space without feeling cramped. The amenities were excellent, everything was spotless, and the location couldn’t have been better - right in the heart of one of San Francisco’s most iconic neighborhoods.
This stay far exceeded my expectations, and I will absolutely be returning in the future for a longer, more leisurely trip with my boyfriend.
