i love this model of hotel living, the staff-less approach worked really well for us. the room was clean and well-designed, and the coffee/tea bar was very appreciated. checking in online was seamless as was checking out. the only issue was that the front door is supposed to be secured by a code, but while waiting for a doordash order we noticed that the lock would randomly unlock as if someone had entered the code. we tested the door multiple times with waiting periods, and we were able to enter from the outside without entering the code on several occasions. this might seem like a minor issue as the main entrance of most hotels aren’t secured by a pin anyways, but it makes you question the security of the rest of the locks in the building because every guest room is secured with the same kind of code lock. also, since there was no front desk staff or security unlike most hotels, having a functioning form of security for the front door seems pretty important.
