The room is lovely, the building is very nice but I did run into several issues that lead to a bad overall experience.
- the security gate to park the car safely was broken so it was closing on people’s cars and then stuck only slightly open and not usable
- it resulted in me parking in the street. Then walking into the building, the key fob must have fallen out of my purse. I notified the building who said it would be $50 to replace. Kasa wanted to charge me $250 which is equivalent to a nights stay. I am disputing that. I’m happy to pay the replacement fee of $50 as I did lose it but the fee should be their cost. If I had been staying at a hotel and lost the key to my room, it would be free to replace and done with friendly customer service, not an AI chatbot who cannot give answers.
- the washing machine smelled like mold and there was a large stain on the carpet in the bedroom. Kasa was responsive about that and said they would clean it when we left.
