Disappointing Stay — Unsafe and Overpriced Parking, Aging Units
I’ve stayed at this property before, but my most recent visit was a letdown compared to prior experiences. The location remains convenient, but the overall value and safety have declined noticeably.
Parking was the biggest problem. We arrived after midnight and found no visible staff or clear payment instructions. The next morning, I discovered a parking ticket on my vehicle — and later that day learned that parking requires an additional fee not clearly stated in advance. To make matters worse, the so-called “attendants” were not in uniform, carried cash in hand, and had no identifying badges. It was impossible to tell if they were legitimate or impersonators. This setup felt unsafe and disorganized, and several other guests I spoke with shared similar frustrations.
Inside the unit, the kitchen outlets didn’t work, likely due to a faulty GFCI. For the premium price charged, basic maintenance checks should be routine so that guests don’t encounter these kinds of issues.
Overall, while the location is convenient, the parking system is chaotic, the communication poor, and the property is showing its age. For the price, a well-managed hotel would offer far better value, safety, and service. I would not recommend this property at this time and plan to share photos and details to help other travelers make informed decisions.
