8/10 Very good
Pros: great location, easy in and out, spacious, clean, comfortable beds, pillows & linens. The host was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Good value with two bedrooms (3 actually) compared to a hotel downtown. Excellent if you have kids and want separate bedrooms. Nice to have the keurig coffee. Also the washer and dryer were awesome to have.
Cons: NEEDS BLACKOUT CURTAINS. 1 bedroom had no windows and was too dark, the second bedroom had 1 window and was too bright, and the third was two walls of windows and was way too bright. (Goldilocks dilemma) The host did provide cheap eye sleeping masks and earplugs in the room, but in my opinion that is a bandaid solution for an obvious problem. I prefer a nice dark room and do not find most eye masks comfortable. It has to be really quality for sleeping IMO.
Minor personal preference issues. The room was a little loud with outside noise on Friday and Saturday nights. Fixed that with a sound machine on my phone. Also the walls were pretty thin and could hear someone snoring in an adjacent apartment on a few of the nights.
Also, I’d prefer a fan in my bedroom. I have a hard time sleeping in still air and would have like a fan to circulate air a bit in the bedroom. (It was fairly cold outside so it’s not as though the AC was running all night moving air). That (I suppose) is not an expectation staying somewhere like this.
The lighting is fine in the bedrooms (with table and ceiling lights) and bathrooms but the living space could be better lit.
Last small issue, I felt like the shower could have had better pressure.
Maybe these are tiny (first world problems) details but I’d like future guests to be aware of my personal thoughts after the stay. Would I go back? Most definitely for the location, space, and value… but I’d bring a small fan and nice comfortable sleeping mask.
