great place to stay close to shopping and many restaurants. room has so many convenient amenities washer dryer and kitchenette great for a long or short stay. friendly and helpful staff

Dislikes: The sheets were dirty upon arrival covered in hair and crumbs and so was the whole room.

The Mint House is very high end & clean. Very convenient to downtown St. Pete. They have valet but street parking is accessible. Highly recommend.

The bedding could definitely be more comfortable, but everything else made up for it. The view was absolutely stunning, and the location is hard to beat—within walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops, and local attractions. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to explore the area and enjoy some beautiful scenery.

Good place to stay visiting for a long weekend. I loved the balcony, being on the 4th floor, people watching was fun. Places are walking distance, pool was relaxing, just a bit noisy due to active construction and downtown. You can either take a short car ride that’s about 5 minutes or walk 20-25 minutes more into downtown for additional bars/restaurants. I’ve been coming to St Pete for close to a decade, visiting friends, so that’s typically where I’d like to be. Parking is $35/night, I would have liked that to be included in the description so I’ll mention it here! That was one downfall, having to pay an additional $100+ for parking. They have valet, although you must be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes or even more (if it’s busy and they haven’t had time to get your car) to receive your car once it’s been ordered through text. There’s 2 hour parking on side streets, if you’re able to find. The Mezzo Market was the best part, happening one Saturday a month. Thank you so much!

there was a lot of barking near us and some confusion about us having a dog (we do not have a dog and had traveled from NH) and staff cleared up immediately, highly recommended the beautiful space

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel for the reasonable price. Stayed only 1 night to visit 2 museums but will return next year to experience more of this area.

I reserved two rooms in error. WHen I checked in and the week had gone by, I realized they charged me for two rooms instead of one. I have been trying for weeks to get that money refunded as ithat money belongs to the organization I work for, and the Hotel refused to pay back the money charged, making me liable for the payment. I will never use this Hotel for as long as I live and spread the word of how incompetent their staff is. HOw obsurd that this comnpany charged me for an extra room that was NEVER used but wont refund the money as well.

Overall great experience. Likes: The room was super clean, smelled wonderful, great location to walk to downtown area. Dislikes: The parking wasn't great but to be expected for downtown area

This hotel felt more like an apartment which is nice for a solo trip! It’s close to coffee shops and workout studios which is nice. It’s about a mile walk from the pier in downtown St. Pete but is walkable. The pool is nice but no amenities other than that. Very clean and quiet at night.

Loved the in room laundry. Would definitely stay there again. No convenient hotel parking available.

I don’t like the parking situation needs to be more efficient and cheaper . Maybe a vending machine or two will be good when you get thirsty

It did the job. The biggest plus is being able to cook our own meals. Likes: No breakfast to my knowledge, we left before dawn. There were amenities I was not expecting- dishes, cups, glasses, silverware. A washer and dryer, ironing board and iron. They had grills on a patio by the pool so they must let people BBQ I guess. The valet system is odd but the guys were very nice and helpful. All in all it was essentially a furnished apartment but not with everything. All that stuff for eating but no pots and pans but possibly I didn't look in every cupboard. I brought my own pans. It was nice and clean, the bathroom is big and very nice with a glass door shower. Everything looked pretty new. You are kinda on your own but that's probably what people want in a place like that, more like an apt building than a hotel. Dislikes: Needed to call main corporate to get instructions for the wifi, and how to operate the thermostat. They don't tell you what channels are available on the TV (some when you clicked were not really available), the TV reception (signal strength) was not very good (slow to load, buffering). And if you went back to a show it started from the beginning instead of where you left off. That said it was free TV so can't complain too much. I wasn't happy to hear the security deposit takes a week to come off your card, that should be within a day. I took pictures of everything right before we left. There was no phone number for the reception. NO instructions on how to check out if no one at the desk. The valet service is not explained and we found out from the valet. The online early check in did not work because the reception guy has to manually do it and he isn't there all the time. The door entry code system is not the best. Ours didn't work initially and we had to make 2 trips downstairs to inform them (this is where it would be nice to be able to call or text) and they finally made a new code on the 2nd trip. We asked for an extra blanket with was provided with no fuss. The bed is very very soft.

Very seamless from check in to check out. Loved the apartment feel of the Airbnb.

An incredible place, I have stayed here multiple times. Even though I live right here in St Pete, my family loves to do little staycations, even if it’s just to get away from the house. Mint House is a perfect spot for us because it’s in the middle of all the action and you don’t have to deal with all of the downtown traffic and craziness.

Great space to unwind after a day of family visits and exploring. Likes: Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, and great location. Dislikes: We stayed a week and asked for the room to be cleaned after the 4th day, but learned that you need to make a request a day or more in advance (this meant we didn't get the room cleaning in time). I think they had just changed this policy, so even the staff were a little fuzzy and said something different than what was written down. Not a huge problem, but wish this part had been more straightforward. On a separate note, there wasn't any seating in the room, aside from the bed and the bar stools in the galley kitchen. We moved the patio set into the bedroom (since it was cooler anyway), which worked. Just needed a place to sit and have coffee, or work on the lap top for a bit.

The unit was spacious and clean. It was great to have laundry facilities in the unit!

Everything was good- just didn’t realize there was no gym. Was looking to do a long term rental but that was a game changer. Also the parking is valet only and really quite a pain. Had to wait a long time for the car , but often they wouid leave the keys at the desk. But for long term purposes , this is not optimal

Highly Recommended Stay! The Mint House is a great concept that turned into a fantastic trip! Even the studios are spacious and well-appointed - it was great to stock up our fridge (though they can do it for you) with healthy, grab-and-go snacks as well as the leftovers from when we dined out, and everything was scrupulously clean on arrival. While there is construction across the street, it was fairly quiet both inside and outside of the hotel, and sitting poolside was an absolute delight. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and great with answering questions and making recommendations for the area. We would absolutely stay here next time we visit the area, and explore Mint House's properties in other places! We didn't valet a car, but it was easy and cheap to Uber pretty much anywhere nearby that's of interest; the area is very walkable and there's a lot to explore, including the outdoor art (murals and sculptures).

Great hotel in dtsp Great location and everything you need is in the room ! Perfect for a long term stay and for people who like to do their own cooking. A quick walk to all of the great restaurants and bars that downtown has to offer. Will be sure to recommend to friends and family !

Location is 10/10. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a walkable location with endless food options! The biggest downfall is the undisclosed $100 pet fee that isn’t advertised until AFTER you book. Several great historic bungalow options in St Pete to rent for the same price when you add in the surprise pet fee at check out. Place was clean and staff was nice.

Home away from home Amazing staff!!! Feels like home! Peaceful rest & relaxation. Quiet! Great food all around! Relaxing pool and grill area- great place to study and read! Lounge area that you can do business in or just chill with friends. Cute little onsite market for grab-n-go snacks.

This was a great location next to lots of restaurants and breweries. It was too cold to swim but the pool area was nice with lots of outdoor seating. It was nice to be able to do laundry in our room. The only issue can be parking depending upon what time and when you were parking. Nights and weekends are a bit tough to find street parking.
