Excellent customer service

We went to the rooftop bar, and the weather was great. The lines at the bar were not long, and there was a nice pool. No one was swimming, but it looked really nice. The bar wasn't too crowded either, we found seats rather quickly as well. Liked it, would come again

Concert was awesome. Great venue.

An old look to the room, but there were parts of the building very industrial looking. It was a nice stay.

The concert hall is beautiful and it sounded great from the balcony.

This place is amazing! Attended an intimate concert for the first time here and I'd love to go again. Plus the rooftop bar is just awesome! Will definitely take pictures to share next time I check it out.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, great location. If you're going to a show at the theater stay here. It is so convenient and we'll worth the money.

Had a GREAT time. Roof Top bar was delightful. Drink and dinner in the restaurant were good and service excellent. The show at the theatre was amazing. Venue SPECTACULAR, so happy this beautiful building has been preserved. We'll definitely be back.

Great venue for events

The view from the rooftop bar is great. The pool is just big enough to accommodate a decent sized group without being too large for the space. The drinks we had were good including a spicy margarita.

Went to the Ace Hotel theater to watch a band play. Overall experience was terrific. Unique and ornate theater, great seating and view, fair priced concessions. Looking forward to future events there.

For some reason, they don't let you go to your seats until 30 minutes before the show starts. Also, the men's bathroom upstairs only has one urinal and one stall, with the urinal being right next to the sink with no divider. Makes things real awkward. Also, the labels for the seats are really hidden (they're on the armrests) so asking for help from the staff on finding your seat is pretty much necessary for most people. As a result, there was a lot of people waiting around for the staff to help them find their seats when the show already started. This whole fiasco could've been avoided if they had let people in earlier and help people find their seats earlier.

Very cool! Went to see a show there, definitely one of the more remarkable places we've been.

Artsy modern boutique hotel. Great staff. Nice compact room. Great ammenities. Covenient location. They lose a star from me because I don't prefer hotels that stock rooms with value/family size refillable toiletries instead of individual (stealables). Is that bottle full of conditioner or...? This is my own specific brand of paranoia. Otherwise a delightful property. A less neurotic guest would give this place 5 stars. Enjoy!

Had dinner at Best Girl. Atmosphere was great and food was excellent. Did not want to stop eating. Had great beer choices as well. Service was great too

Staff was really nice but the rooms were nothing like they were on the internet. I have never stayed in a room that looks like you are sleeping in a parking garage I ate the loss and checked out a few hour later. The 2 stars are only because the staff was really nice.

We just don't get it? Perhaps we just aren't hip enough for this place ....maybe one star? This is not priced as an economy hotel but the rooms and fixtures are like from a youth hostel or construction site . There is beautiful raw concrete work but this is not it. The carpeting was dirty the roof pool is open to the public so well first its not a pool its a wading area maybe 3 feet deep and the size of a real hotel hot tub. Being open to the public in downtown LA opens up the clientele base to an excitingly odd collection of human beings. The lounges around this roof top area are so stained and used you need many towels to cover up ...I don't know it just all seems dirty like it was steamed cleaned maybe 10 years ago ...there's no food available after like 10 or 11 pm? The restaurant in the hotel has the worst breakfast pastries in Los Angeles and the menu is very limited and for "hip" it offers no vegan or really even vegetarian dishes.....its life during war time and really just appreciate what is there . There is absolutely nothing first class about any part of it ...the towels the shower the elevators the rooms the beds the colors the air conditioning the design its all bad art college project ...Is it trying to do a Chelsea Hotel in New York thing or Charles Bukowski hotel room revisit museum ...we just aren't the ones that will appreciate this ...we awoke to jack hammers working on the street out front of the hotel to top off our stay ... hey this might be right up your alley but there are so many great hotels in Los Angeles why ..... this is not one of them...easily forgotten and never revisited.....cheers !

Ace Hotel was a wonderful expierence; the rooms were nicely lighted, the vendors were extremely friendly. Overall, a great expierence!

The hotel looked great, however I did not actually stay there. I was attending an event at the Theater in the Ace Hotel. The Theater was a phenomenal venue, comfortable seating, average priced food and beverages, and exceptional sound quality.
