10/10 Exceptional
A friend of mine was staying here and I met her for a drink or two on the rooftop bar. Beautiful views of downtown can be seen from the rooftop bar. There was a DJ spinning the night we were there and the rooftop bar had a really cool, relaxed vibe. We were able to find seats right next to a fireplace and were treated to a lovely view of a tree, wrapped in macrame and fairy lights growing right out of the roof! It was a little louder than I would have liked, but we were able to carry on a conversation and enjoy the music. We were treated to table service and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu. She made some recommendations for us and we both enjoyed our drinks as well as our food. I just HAD to try their avocado toast and it didn't disappoint! Artisanal bread toasted to perfection, topped with what I would say is the equivalent of an entire avocado dressed with what tasted like lemon juice and garnished with sliced radishes, chopped green onions and Furikake. My friend enjoyed the nachos. I drank a couple of delicious appletinis, served in small plastic tumblers.
I was able to see her room and it was absolutely HUGE for a downtown LA hotel room. It had a real industrial loft feel and she had both a guitar and a record player in her room, complete with a nice assortment of records.
