The hotel was easy to find, the room was unique, and the staff was nice. Unfortunately, the bad outweighed the good. Parking was expensive, the bed was uncomfortable, the room was small, the elevators took forever, outside noise was very loud, and our room service food was delivered cold.

The music was okay on a Saturday night. I enjoy hip hop, but they were playing disco. Service was quicker at the bar than usual , which is a plus.

I met coworkers for drinks at the rooftop bar. The view is pretty, as is the layout, but the vibe is almost too cool. This is a place for overpriced, slip-shod drinks in ugly cups, surrounded by beautiful people and a nice breeze.

Went "Upstairs" to the rooftop bar. Nice vibe and decent drinks. A bit pricey but you are paying for the view. Service was prompt and better than prior experiences. Blankets were a nice touch for the slightly chilly wind but working heat lamps would have been preferred. Overall a great way to introduce some visitors to what hanging out in downtown LA is like.

The staff were what made the place wonderful. Comfortable bed and accommodating staff. Short falls for me was the room bathroom. Sliding door that doesn't close all the way, a show head encrusted in scale and like and no shower curtain or glass dividers to keep water from splashing out all over the floor and toilet area. Otherwise comfortable stay, lovely bar and view up top on the roof and great people.

Great hotel. Very modern feeling, yet with a bit of an art deco exterior. Roof top area is very cool. If you like a minimalist design, the rooms are perfect for you.

Ace hotel is in a cool area of downtown, great service, staff and beds super comfy. However, guys could you invest in some double glazing on those Windows?! The noise is horrfific if you get the rooms closest to the road and it should be advertised theres building going on across the road. For the price I wish we stayed somewhere else and just visited the rooftop.

This is for the gorgeous view of downtown LA and the rooftop bar. The bartenders understand their craft and excel at cocktails. Dimly let to help set the tone, it did make it difficult to read their bar lists. Takr an Uber or lyft here as parking can be rather spotty.
