The room is decent. The bed is a platform bed with just a mattress. It's more comfortable than it seems, at least for me. Although it is a bit low to the ground and reaching the lights while in bed is difficult. The room is really small, although I think they have bigger (much more expensive) options available. Luckily this is a business trip and someone else is paying for it for me.
There are only two elevators and they can take a while. They're also small (it's an old building, so to be expected) and you sometimes have to pass on a full elevator and wait on another one.
The a/c takes a while to cool things down, so be sure to keep it turned down all day, even if you're going to be gone, if you like a cold room at night.
I'm on the top floor under the bar. And I can hear it at all hours of the day and night. They have a DJ who seems to be there most of the afternoon/evening/night, and I can hear the bass thumping in my room. So if they offer you a room on the top floor, ask for a different room. From what I can tell, some rooms also have a great view of a wall on the back side of the hotel. The front side looks out at the street and a building under construction. I'm here with a coworker and he said he could hear people 13 stories below us on the sidewalk at 3am being loud and drunk.
If you want a quieter stay, this hotel probably isn't for you. If you're with a family, I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel.
