I had an interesting experience at this hotel, the stay started off really bad booked a queen and got something smaller, so we changed rooms and the room I got was torn apart (lol) so I ended up getting put in a "junior suite"
I really don't care that much about that.
Things that really stick out with this hotel
-all the rooms share the same layout for the bed from the rooms I saw, bed is touching the wall and TV is hanging right in front with a table on the back of the bed which I'm not a fan of but it's whatever
- carpet with a shower that has no door, this is honestly one of the most questionable choices I've seen, when you're showering the water from the shower gets to the carpet. This is fine happening, but you would probably have to water vacuum the carpet after every stay which I'm sure doesn't happen
-which leads me to the next point, the first room smelled fine, however the suite smelled funky (probably from the carpet)
-Which also leads me to the next point, cleanliness is questionable, I found a bottle of water under the table
-location: 15 minute walk from the nearest subway (our mistake), nice double land street so not a lot of noise, taco truck next door and theatre next door
Overall the hotel isn't terrible, the workers were very nice and helpful in getting us into our final room, it's a hotel with character and some amenities. The biggest thing is that cleanliness needs to revised
