Home away from Home
We were staying in SD for a week and didn't want to stay with family. We loved this little spot and found it really refreshing and clean. The bathroom is so so cute and the bed was pretty comfortable. Only downside to this room specifically is that it is RIGHT on the corner, so if you are sleeping without ear plugs you will hear ALL of the nightlife including cars/music/drunks/ etc. It is right next to Gaslamp District, which is in downtown San Diego, so you should be expecting to hear the night life regardless, but just know you will need ear plugs for this spot. Super close to many many stores/restaurants/coffee/bars so I really think that makes up for the noise. One other thing that happened was that we were unable to access the roof one night because the key pad was bugging out. Also, if you're going with your partner, and plan to have fun, just know that the walls seem really thin....(Its a historical building in SD so definitely made that way). Other than that, we had a great time. Given all of this, I would still recommend to a friend.
