Great stay and friendly staff! Perfect walking distance from activities in the French Quarter.

It was a nice room for a couple of nights, but the amount of homeless in this location is insanity. Each night we had to step over someone lying on the doorstep into the place. You can hear everything inside and outside of the place.

Exactly as described, a little outdated but it was still a beautiful place to stay.

Highly recommend staying here on Frenchman. Close to everything you need and lots to do. Still in the French quarter but more quieter and away from the noise. The water main broke during my stay and they provided me with free water bottles which was super helpful. As a former local of New Orleans 10/10 recommend!

A charming, homey hotel right in the middle of things! Loved this place! We had a generously sized, beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the street. Potentially noisy, but not too bad during our stay. The staff were unfailingly charming and helpful. We felt really welcome! No breakfast, but the beautiful Cafe Envie is three minutes walk and has amazing breakfasts and coffee.

We had an excellent experience staying at the Frenchmen by Kasa! The location is perfect to walk around Frenchmen Street but is on the quiet side of the street so still feels private. Very accessible to things like the Arts Market, the rest of the French Quarter, and there are lots of great restaraunts around. Very cute rooms with all the necessary amenities and friendly staff helped make our stay relaxing!

A charming and comfortable hotel with unfailingly friendly and helpful staff.

We really liked the overall atmosphere, lots of character. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and no noise through the walls or ceiling. A couple things could have been better. There was limited counter and table space. The lighting was not good, especially by the mirror. Finally, the street noise can get a bit loud, mainly music played very loud bt passing cars, didn't bother us, but it might bother some. Overall it was a great experience and we would stay there again.

It was wonderful staying at Kasa! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and gave us great ideas on what to do around town. They held our bags after checkout so we could explore some more. We would definitely stay there again.

The Frenchmen is the perfect location if you want to explore the French Quarter of New Orleans and all it has to offer. There's lots to taste and do on Frenchmen street. And pretty much all the tourist attractions are within a 15-20 minute walk or less. Plus the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The building itself has great character and charm with a gorgeous poolside patio and great views from the rooftop lounge. Just make sure to bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper because you can hear the jazz from down the street all night long. And don't forget to say hi to the friendly prankster ghost in room 103!

Amazing

Good stay! Was a bit of a walk, but it's what we expected. bummed that the hottub wasn't working while we were there. Parking was easy, but way more expensive than we thought it'd be. $41 per day on the weekends - and the only options were 5 hour or 24 increments, which was annoying. But that is sepate from the Airbnb spot! The room was nice and had the basics. The front desk team was super kind and helpful!

Highly recommend staying here. The front desk people were all friendly and held our bags before the room was ready. The room was very clean. The bed was on the softer side but even still it’s a very comfortable spot. The pool area is a great touch. I’d stay again.

Adorable little hotel, right on Frenchman so lots to do, and the French market was so close. Great a/c and staff were so helpful and kind and hospitable. I will say the downfalls were being on the bottom floor—you can hear people banging and stomping around late at night. Old hardwood floors on the top floor. So bring earplugs or request a top room if you’re a light sleeper. Secondly, the hot tub did not work the entire 5 days we were there and it sounds like it hasn’t worked in the past either. So that was disappointing. But overall great experience and would def go again for a cheaper price, considering those two things. Thanks!

From the minute we arrived until the regretful last closing of the lobby door, our stay at the Frenchmen hotel by Kasa was a delightful capsule of what makes New Orleans dreamy and unlike anywhere else. The building itself is on the register of historic places circa 1860, so if you’re looking for cookie cutter luxury, look somewhere else. This place is for those who want a comfortable, authentic experience steps from the action but close enough to join it. The location has a pool, hot tub, rooftop terrace, and complimentary tea/coffee, and all of the staff were engaging and helpful. The front door and room have codes for access, so no worrying about misplacing a key or remembering to drop it off on your way out. Forget whether or not I want to come back, how do I move in forever?

Staff were friendly. I was under the impression there wouldn’t be any around as it was self check-in but there was generally always someone on reception. It’s a lively location. If you need silence to sleep, this probably isn’t the spot for you. Depending on where you’re located on the property, some rooms are probably quieter than others. Loads of towels, pillows & bath products, etc… were handy to have.

The Frenchmen was a GREAT place to stay for our New Orleans trip! The front desk was friendly and helpful and the location was absolutely perfect for exploring and walking around the city. Being on Frenchmen street next to so many phenomenal jazz bars was a plus.

This was a very cute stay in NOLA. It was in a good location for walking to/from the French quarter, and the hot tub made this spot particularly worthwhile. The room was quite small and there were a few small issues, but the host was extremely responsive and worked to remedy them. Would recommend.

Check in was easy and they were able to accommodate an early check in which was great after an early travel day. Everyone at the front desk was so friendly! Ericka had great recommendations for places to eat in the area. The room was as described and the bed was firm yet comfortable. We could hear some outside noise in the room but it wasn’t anything that kept us up at night and there was a sound machine in the room but we didn’t need it. The location was perfect and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. The pool and hot tub were a great place to come back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. The pool isn’t heated so we mostly used the hot tub. The back patio was a great place to sit as well. We would definitely stay here again when back in New Orleans!

We really liked this hotel and loved the neighborhood. There was some miscommunication about our room being on the ground floor which the host resolved quickly and very much to our satisfaction. The accommodations and hotel atmosphere were very much and keeping the feeling like we were in New Orleans French Quarter but with great amenities. Definitely plan to stay here again in future.

Good for the price and location Likes: Location, price, staff. Pool area is very nice, but small. Any more than 3 people in the hot tub is too much. Dislikes: Thin walls, very thin doors. You could hear anyone outside the doors talking very clearly, even if they were on the floor below, as well as the opening and closing of doors and the cleaning persons vacuum. It was also quite easy to understand the conversation of the people we were sharing a wall with, although they were respectful and it was only during the day. The curtains on the doors do not cover the entire window so as soon as the sun comes up your room will be pretty bright. The tv didn’t work at all, it’s just a decoration. It would turn on and that’s it, couldn’t connect to internet, no way to watch anything other than the input screen menu. I get it’s NoLa and you’re not supposed to be your room watching tv, but it’s nice to have something on while I’m waiting for my partner to shower or while laying in bed before sleep. No microwave in room, so eating leftovers isn’t really gonna happen. There is no rooftop bar as advertised. Just a smoking area on the roof with an empty bar.

Great location

The location was great for my husband and I as we like to frequent Frenchmen St for music. It’s also a quick walk to the French Market and into French Quarter. The space was clean and bed was very comfortable. The only complaint is lack of area/space to get ready. I think an added mirror or table with mirror would be a good improvement. The bathroom is small which wasnt a huge deal, just a heads up if you’re taller/bigger you might have a tough time in the shower. Everyone at front desk was very nice. Place was safe and secure. Cute courtyard with pool.

Such a great stay! Erika at the front desk was incredibly helpful and even helped me carry my bags up the stairs. I stayed in the Deluxe Queen Suite — it was beautiful with so much natural light, perfect AC, and I loved the coded door for easy access. Checkout was seamless, and I always felt comfortable coming and going. The location on Frenchmen Street is perfect — right next to a vinyl store, a bookstore down the street, and only a 5-minute walk to the party scene. Would definitely stay again!

the front desk staff were amazing! Erika/Ericka was a rockstar and made me feel welcomed. The room was smaller that I thought, but clean and a really cute bathroom. Kasa just bought it, so they're still working on parts of the hotel, and when it's done it'll be absolutely beautiful! Everything I was looking for in regards to the French Quarter and Mardi Gras was close by. I would definitely stay again!

Kasa helped us feel right at home. location, location, location. You are in the middle of everything there is to do from Frenchman St to Bourbon St to Jackson Square. I will be staying here again.

It was perfect! My local friends said this is the place they stay for their staycation so I had to check it out. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is a historic building. Very well maintained and run efficiently. Clean and staff is very friendly. Would opt for the balcony rooms or the two level loft rooms next time. They looked really nice.

Very nice, private space. We selected the queen room and were given what appeared to be a full size bed. The location at night was pretty sketchy.
