10/10 Exceptional
The Frenchmen hotel was lovely. Its in a "heritage" building, however all the amenities work well (the bathroom is a little tight) - the location however is smack in the middle of it all. I had a quiet corner room with my pup Azula in the back, next to the pool. greatly appreciated.. the reception always had someone friendly and engaging.. live music and action right outside your door - the parking lots (fairly secure/right behind on both sides - spot hero works great) and the pet fee were fair (and on an overcharge, on reaching out they seem to be rectifying quite immediately!). I did enjoy the pool in the rain, its protected on all sides - a pretty magical time.
All in all, I would stay here again - my pup and I felt very welcomed and it was a great base to walk around and explore Nola!
