We first arrived in a room that didn't look at all like the photos. We knew that the layout was subject to change, but this time we found ourselves in a soulless, tiled room on the ground floor. Since we arrived late, we slept there, but we asked for a switch and the next day we were able to change rooms as soon as we woke up, so the service was great and that soothed us. The room we got afterwards had a lot more charm. The pool is cool. The setting is very pretty. The location is great! There are often homeless people nearby, but that's not a problem, and that's the flip side of the big plus point: proximity to the jazz clubs on Frenchmen Street. Otherwise, the AC is very noisy, you'd think you were in an airplane. You get used to it, but it's weird at first. Especially as it's not very well insulated, you have to leave the AC running or it heats up pretty quickly. All in all, it was a good stay! it started badly but we were well looked after! Everyone was lovely and we felt safe!
