Great location, quiet and cozy room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you want easy walking access to the FQ and the Marigny/Bywater areas. Will be staying again.

Only Place to Stay in NOLA!! Likes: Whenever we come to New Orleans this is our place to stay. It is close to the live band bars and eating places. It is away from the wildness of French Quarter. This area is considered the "Older Crowd" French Quarter. No wildness around this hotel. Dislikes: There's nothing not to like about this hotel.

The Frenchman is a pleasant boutique hotel located on Frenchman Street, which is about 6 blocks away from Bourbon Street. French man street is a mini version of Bourbon street that the locals go to instead. Check it out, you will love it.

Stylish, comfortable and well- priced! We had a wonderful time at the Frenchman! The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were comfortable and stylish. While we were in the middle of everything, the hotel itself was set back at the end of the street so it was surprisingly quiet at night. I would definitely return for another day..

Decent place in a great location. Likes: The location was great and if everything in the property had been working, I would have been very happy. It is quaint and clean. The staff is great. Dislikes: 1. Outdoor jacuzzi was not working. 2. The ceiling fan in the room was not working. 3. The Tiki bar on the property looked great but is temporarily closed.

Easy Check-in and Clean unit I had a great stay with Kasa at The Frenchmen. This property has all the cool esthetics of New Orleans and is a great place to stay for a quick weekend visit. We really enjoyed the proximity to everything on Frenchmen Street and the walkability to lots of other areas in New Orleans. This property is right across the street from the New Orleans Jazz Museum so make sure you stop by there and check that out. Our unit was very clean and we really enjoyed the recommendations from the GM of the property Taylor. He made sure to give us the local spots in the neighborhood.

Such a lovely and charming place. Excellent location right at the end of Frenchman; a very short walk from Three Muses, Spotted Cat and also French Market and Jackson Square. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and just delightful. My wife and I just love NOLA history and this had the "if these walls could talk" vibe. Absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!

Beautiful historic hotel. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed our time at the Frenchmen Hotel. If you want a quite hotel this is not the spot for you. Me and my boyfriend enjoy the late night hustle and bustle so this was ideal for us.

Don’t get misled by the boutique facade. Pictures look nice but quality is not there. The service was really poor and uninviting. The location is rough, street noise was super loud. I love design and thoughtful design seems like they ran out of money when it came to finishing touches. Whomever manages this property must not spend much time there overseeing the staff.

The photographer from the website needs an incredible raise. The images do not fairly represent what you are getting here. Our room was missing fixtures, small, and unwelcoming. The rooms are incredible small and smell old and musty. The staff was mostly absent (never at the front desk) and did not seem to care about being hospitable. We checked out as quickly as we could and found one of the other dozen great hotels NOLA provides

I honestly can’t believe the other reviews about this hotel. Light fixtures were missing, outlets didn’t work, the fan is working it way out of the ceiling and it is the smallest room I’ve seen outside of a big city. Long story short, there are too many good hotels to stay in this MOTEL, while in NOLA.

Cool hotel. Mediocre room. Love the location of this hotel. Overall it is pretty great, but our room was just okay. Comfortable bed, cold air conditioning, hot shower. The reason for the average rating is: The fan looked like it was going to fall off the ceiling when we turned it on. There was no toilet paper holder (looked like it was broken so they removed it), and the door handle on the closet was missing, so it was difficult to open it.

The hotel and staff are absolutely fantastic! We stayed in the king room with a balcony which was so neat, the only downfall was the cars driving by blaring their music on the weekend nights. I should have thought about noise and definitely wouldn’t have stayed that close to the street in the hotel. I hope that makes sense because the only complaint I have is because I didn’t think the noise thru. The hotel is beautiful, the vibe is everything. The staff is so attentive and polite! The atmosphere is very peaceful! I look forward to staying again!
