Likes: Location Dislikes: The internet connection was unreliable, and the television was not functioning during our stay. In addition, the smoke alarm continuously emitted a beeping sound until the batteries were removed, which was inconvenient and disruptive.

Kasa’s listing was perfect for us! everything was walkable from bourbon street to Frenchmen we barely had to get an uber. Kasa’s listing definitely exceeded my expectations. The receptionist was absolutely wonderful, helpful, and kind. We can’t wait to come back!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, the location couldn’t have been more perfect, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make my visit exceptional. Every part of my stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top‑notch service and a wonderful experience.

Staff was very friendly and the pool was nice!

This is a hidden gem in heart of Frenchman street. You are literally in walking distance of everything including Jackson Square and the French Market. The staff were all sooo friendly and welcoming. The property itself was so cute and clean. This will be my Kasa away from mine every time I visit New Orleans.

Very nice and accommodating

Loved the place! It combines the best of an affordable hostel with the convenience of a hotel. The pool and hot tub are surprisingly nice and relaxing. The location on Frenchmen Street is perfect if you're looking to experience the vibrant nightlife of New Orleans. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a blast!

This place was awesome. Perfect location on Frenchman quick walk to Bourbon or along the water to Jackson Square. The staff was awesome and very helpful.

Loved the staff they were hospitable, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were well maintained and spacious.

Pros: The hotel is walking distance to Bourbon street, the staff are friendly, it felt relatively secure (as long as the other guests keep the gate closed) and the room was well decorated. Cons: Although pet friendly there is an additional pet fee of $30 charged at check-in, street parking is limited and the lot is another $30-$40, if there is someone in the room above you then you’ll hear all of their footsteps, there is one little mirror in the bathroom and it’s hung too high to be able to get ready in it if you’re 5’ 5” or shorter.

The excellent customer service started before I even checked in. I reached out about reserving particular rooms, and Bianca assisted me. She was able to reserve one room, and for the other, she made a note in case a cancellation came through. When we checked in and my niece went to her room, she was overjoyed to have the room she wanted Bianca had made the change and decided to surprise her. We were in NOLA to celebrate my niece’s birthday. That brings me to my second compliment. Cullen was a breath of fresh air, Southern charm with a Northern understanding. He got us checked into one room a little early so we could drop off our bags. The next morning, he surprised my niece with a thoughtful birthday gift, and one for me as well. Neka was the highlight of our visit. She made my niece feel welcomed into the city and went out of her way to make her birthday special, New Orleans style. My niece said it felt like she was visiting someone’s home, not a hotel, because everyone went above and beyond. To close out our stay, Erica sent us off with more Southern hospitality she checked on our driver and made checkout effortless. Every single staff member at The Frenchmen has set the bar for what a boutique hotel experience should be. I recently started a travel business, and I’ve been traveling to scout cities for my travelers. The Frenchmen is now my primary hotel recommendation for NOLA. Thank you to the entire staff at The Frenchmen!

We got just a small queen room and it was all we need and right next to the pool, the room was clean and had no weird smells the staff was AMAZING and the location is a 2 min walk to the trolly and the French market as well as walking distance to all the tourists spots which was a huge sell. There is lots of good food options in the area and it felt safe with a nice corner store around the corner 20/10 would stay there again

Great stay, would stay again

My stay here was very nice and peaceful. Everyone was super helpful and so kind. I appreciate the southern hospitality and I would definitely come back to New Orleans. I did a solo trip for my birthday for two days and I had a really good time. I felt safe on Frenchman Street and there was always something to do when I was out. Thank you!

I enjoyed my stay and it was overall a good experience. The room was charming and the front desk folks were generally friendly. I really loved the floor to ceiling windows and the balcony space. It was close to a bunch of great music venues and had some good food options. There were a few minor issues that come from just being in one of the oldest cities in the country that I won't bother mentioning. But just a heads up, there is a fire department right across the street but even that occasional noise wouldn't keep me from coming back.

This was our 1st time in New Orleans. The hotel was wonderful. From the room to the pool. The staff was so helpful and incredibly sweet. Especially Erica. She helped us get a taxi to the airport which is cheaper than an Uber. Frenchman street was fun. Great food, music and drinks. I will definitely stay here again when I come back.

Absolutely gorgeous spot, cute and secluded! We would definitely go again and will recommend it to anyone and everyone! Short walk from everything and so much to try and see! The staff were very welcoming and made us feel right at home! We loved our stay!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, and the entire staff was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our visit. We drove in from Atlanta and found affordable parking just around the corner from the Airbnb for $25/day, which felt safe and secure the whole time. The location was also super convenient—only about a 10-minute walk to the French Quarter, and we were even able to walk to the World War II Museum from here as well. We would definitely stay again!

Great location, delightful staff and lovely room and building.

The room was clean, but quite dark. We looked out directly onto the pool on the ground floor so we needed to keep the curtains closed the whole time so we had no natural light. There was also nowhere really to store any of our clothes which was a shame. Also, the only mirror available was either a small one in the bathroom or a slightly bigger one that was in the dark corner by the door. I understand that this property has a certain character or charm and that adds to it, but the door felt quite flimsy and had big gaps around it and I think something better should be done about this. The gaps around the door meant that the aircon didn't work as well as it could as a lot of hot air was able to get in to the room, and a lot of light and noise also came into the room. There was no safe in the room, and because of us being in the ground floor and the door feeling quite flimsy, we didn't feel safe at all to leave anything in the room. It is a great location but unfortunately the room lets the property down. I think a few tweaks could make it really good.

A Fantastic Return to The Frenchman! This was my second trip staying at The Frenchman Hotel and my first visit with my son. I'm already counting down the days until I can get back. You can't beat the incredible location, but what makes this place extra special is the hospitality. Bianca and Erica are absolute gems—the sweetest, most helpful folks who went entirely out of their way to ensure we had a phenomenal trip. On top of that, having access to the pool and the central location for live music are amazing perks of staying here. We've enjoyed both of the rooms we've rented as well. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting New Orleans!

I always stay at The Frenchmen Hotel when I’m in New Orleans (first time was 2013). The best location. Away from Bourbon St., but still in the Party Zone. French Quarter is right there, but it’s still quiet. Super nice staff.

The Frenchmen was one of the most unique hotels we’ve ever stayed at! The building, rooms, and lobby are all beautifully decorated and clean. The pool in the courtyard was the perfect place to cool off mid-day after walking around the French quarter (a short walk from the hotel). It’s right on Frenchmen street which is full of live Jazz at night, but still perfectly quiet at night when you want to get some sleep. A special thanks to Bianca who gave us all of the most amazing recommendations for food and was so kind to us throughout our stay. When we come back to NOLA we will definitely be staying here again!

good place to stay if you’re looking for a bargain hotel. close to everything, only 5-15 min walk to the hot spots. at the very end of frenchmen street so it’s on the quieter side but there is still music from the surrounding businesses and walls are a bit thin if you’re a light sleeper (i am not). the staff here is also so wonderful, everyone was very kind and helpful and accommodating.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple times now, and it is truly one of my favorites not only in the city, but in the country. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating (Bianca in particular), the location is unbeatable and the general atmosphere is simultaneously chic and cozy. Bummer the tiki bar is closed right now; but once it’s up and running again, this hotel will be a TRUE 10 out of 10.

We had the absolute best time at the Frenchman!!! From the second we walked up to the door- the lobby smelled incredible with that luxury feel. Every detail was thoughtful and elevated the vibe. We adored our room with the balcony and the pool that had a European feel. The location was so perfect- we could walk to the bars on Frenchman within seconds and very quick walk to bourbon. This was my favorite stay in New Orleans and I will absolutely be back!!

Erica at the front desk was amazing! All front desk employees were helpful and kind. This is a fantastic place that is directly in the middle of Frenchmen St and all of its wonderful clubs. We had a courtyard room that was peaceful amid all the active Frenchmen St activities. I would recommend this place to any of our friends!

My second time staying here and everything was as fantastic as last time. Bianca was amazing, and the rest of the staff were equally friendly and helpful. We stayed for slightly longer this time and were offered housekeeping, with clean sheets put on and fresh towels delivered. The space is beautifully designed, inspired by surrealist artist Leonor Fini. I enjoyed waking up every day to the tastefully curated soundtrack from the pool and falling asleep to the sounds of Frenchmen Street. Perhaps not ideal if you need absolute silence, but it was a plus for me. Looking forward to staying here again soon!

Great staff. Really nice boutique hotel. We enjoyed the pool during the heat of the day. Only 2 issues: 1- WiFi kept going in and out. 2- The neighborhood can be loud some nights, so it can be hard to sleep

Everything about this hotel was great. Location is central to anything you want to get to easily both on Frenchmen St. and the rest of the French Quarter. Bianca, Erika, and the rest of the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful- outstanding service all around. Rooms were in great condition and the pool was very inviting and relaxing. Can’t recommend this place highly enough for your next NOLA visit. Will definitely be back.
