The rooms make you feel like you’re in a motel, with not great privacy, linoleum floors, and fluorescent lighting.
But the amenities (cold water to fill up with, a nice pool, plenty of pool towels) are nice and the location is great to enjoy Frenchman street as well as the river walk, French quarter bars and restaurants, etc. Also, every staff member was truly so nice to interact and chat with. And being able to leave your bags the day you arrive /depart is super helpful.
The one other negative is just that Frenchman st. Smells horrible in the morning, so you’re not going to have the nicest walk to go get a coffee and such.
