Will be back Warm and welcoming staff. They were user friendly and professional. The location was GREAT. Walking distance to many things. Cable went out because of a storm and NEVER came back on. Disappointing as when I was ready to relax and look at tv....there was none!

The hotel rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. However, there was no hot water during our stay and no one assisted despite calls to the front desk. The bathroom was a little outdated, but had a lot of space.

Saints game weekend getaway We had an amazing weekend. Hotel was in a great location for getting around via a street car or on foot. Front desk staff very helpful and kind. If you are not used to street noise just know ahead of time streets are busy, streetcar runs in front of the hotel and lots of foot traffic. Room was not very big but it was just 2 of us so that worked fine, just wished a little more room and maybe a recliner if you were staying in the room for a little while to rest and recoup from walking all day.

Place to call home at New Orleans Great little quaint hotel within walking distances of interesting places．The staff are especially helpful, solutes to Denise at the checkin and Anthony for helping me with the luggage and direction to the Bourbon Street 👍

Excelente custo-benefício e equipe muito atenciosa Likes: A equipe do hotel é muito prestativa e atenciosa, mesmo com a dificuldade do sotaque do inglês em Lousiana, eles sempre estavam dispostos a nos ajudar da melhor forma possível. O quarto é bem confortável e a cama bem aconchegante. Dislikes: O isolamento acústico poderia ser melhor e como sugestão de melhoria eu acho que eles ganhariam pontos com a inclusão de um forno microondas no quarto ou parcerias para o café da manhã.

Les chambres les plus calmes sont celles donnant sur la rue. Likes: Amabilité du personnel. Café et cafetière dans la chambre. Dislikes: Les chambres donnant sur la rue derrière sont bruyantes car les ventilateurs du restaurant tournent H24. Le bruit est constant et insupportable. Après avoir changé de chambre, celle donnant sur la rue est beaucoup plus agréable. Le tram ne fonctionnant pas la nuit, c'est plutôt calme. L'éclairage des chambres est assez faible, mais je crois que c'est une généralité aux US.

Likes: Great location, great customer service. We arrived on Thanksgiving evening, Denise went above and beyond to find us a place for dinner as no one near was serving food. In the end she organised pizza to be delivered and it was delicious!!! Dislikes: The air conditioning units were noisy which mad sleeping difficult. We asked to be changed to a quieter room and we're given a room two floors up in exactly the same part of the building, which was just as noisy.

Great Hotel! Very nice, quiet and peaceful hotel. Staff was very nice and friendly! Will stay again! Also it is 3 blocks away from Canal Street. It is walking distance if you are planning on going to Bourbon Street!

Helpful Checkin First time in New Orleans and I arriver later than expected and very turned around. Denise at the front desk was very helpful when I checked in, gave me advice on parking, breakfast, and the area. Couldn’t have asked for a better first person to talk to upon arriving in New Orleans!

Clean rooms & Friendly staff The rooms were clean, smelled clean, and the bed and pillows were pretty comfy! The staff was helpful and friendly, especially Chavonne at the front desk! Chavonne went out of her way to get us a fresh cup of coffee after the machine in our room had a little issue. Thank you for your kindness, Chavonne!

Not bad After reviews I was 1/2 and 1/2 if I wanted to book her. I did and once I got here the ladies at check In 100% amazing! It is an older hotel but that’s not always a bad thing. Room had the heat on but easy to work temp controls and for the ac on and cooled down - it took a moment to kick on but once again older hotel. Beds comfy and clean

I have to say that upon arrival we were cheerful, greeted by Quinton, he was at door and held the door open for us , always greeted us just a very professional friendly man .Denise, at the front desk was very pleasant and very helpful . Our suite was clean. We were very very happy with the service . We will be returning to New Orleans and definitely will be booking this hotel again . (The New Orleans trolley is right outside of the hotel door for easy transportation. Bourbon street ,French Quarter etc .

Great hotel in NOLA and even better service! This is our first time visiting New Orleans and we were looking for a great hotel to stay near the French Quarter. This hotel and the service was spot on and just what we needed for a quick holiday getaway! Denise took great care of us and as a Diamond reward member we felt very valued! Highly recommend!

A good place to stay with some fantastic staff. Likes: The front counter worker Deniese and the afer hours door/security person Anthony were amazing. The customer service from these 2 individuals was way above standards Dislikes: The motel was in need of wheelchair friendly parking. It was not well situated for people in a wheelchair.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Denise was very helpful and exceptionally curtious. I would definitely return! Signed up for Wyndham rewards and I'm really looking forward to staying here again. Very comfortable sleeping arrangement alongside a convenient location!

Great Location & friendly staff - that's all! Room was dark, bathroom outdated and the AC and TV did not work - it was very hot. August 2023. They changed out room without any issues, front desk staff very friendly and helpful but they double charged us after saying that our booking had been cancelled by me and that I got my money back. I showed them my booking which clearly showed no cancellation and no refund. Very disappointing that it has taken them 3 months to give us back our refund. Location is great, trolly just across the road and French Quarter near by. Paul at the front desk was very helpful and apologetic. Would not book again - lots of other hotels near by to pick from.

The LaFayette is a lovely, historic old hotel that gives you the feeling that you truly are in New Orleans. Some updating is needed. The staff was hit-or-miss as far as being friendly and accommodating. It's located near the Quarter, shopping and wonderful restaurants.

Pretty meh hotel The hotel is in a great location. That said, my room (king sized bed) was somewhat dark, with small windows that looked out into the adjacent building. The bathroom felt dated, and the water in the shower never got hot enough. So, it was fine for a stay but not that great for $230+ per night. I would definitely not book again.
