The place was very luxurious- brand new- spacious, clean, big fluffy towels, and just beautiful. There was a large space downstairs so we could visit with some family by the "fireplace" too. Very nice place!

Comfortable, spacious rooms. Good vibes
The room was amazing. It’s spacious and has a modern design. My mother is in a wheelchair and the room was perfect for her needs as the bathroom was large and accessible. There’s a great, communal vibe to the place and there’s a restaurant on sight. It was perfect and we didn’t want to leave. This is our go to place in Skowhegan now!

A cool place in Skowhegan
A very cool place. Huge rooms with high ceilings. Bedroom door must have been 12 feet tall. Nice kitchenette. Great bed.

We enjoyed our stay at the "Skowhegan". The rooms were very unique with a loft like feel. Extra large windows and tall ceilings. The beds sooo comfortable as were the pillows. The shower was the highlight I didnt want to get out. The virtual Kasa team was very attentive at all times to answer questions and requests promptly and efficiently. The Biergarten restaurant and adorable store next door was alot of fun. They had coffee and delicious muffins you could buy a stone throw from the front door as early as 7am. We would happily stay again and thank you!

Terrific hotel overlooking the Kennebec River. The rooms are well appointed, the service is very focused and thoughtful and the common areas are really well laid out, very high quality finish, great gym, great outdoor space. The Beirgarten by Maine Grains promises to become a wonerful local eatery for people of all walks. Can't wait to spend more time at The Skowhegan this summer!

Everything about my stay was amazing. The rooms are spacious, modern, and look more like a 1 bedroom apartment than a hotel room. The design is beautiful and the scenery with the river next to the hotel is very pleasant. Will be my go to place every time I visit Skowhegan.

Designer hotel with large and luxurious rooms and amenities
Fantastic 3 night stat at The Skowhegan hotel located in a historic textile mill right on the river in Skowhegan. Beautifully designed, massive hotel rooms that felt more like an apartment than a traditional hotel room. And great to have the Biergarten Restaurant as part of the hotel experience. Looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful historic hotel
The hotel is beautiful. The room was huge, clean and very comfortable. Nice to have the kitchenettes. Online check-in was straightforward. Enjoyed the lounge as well. Great to have the Biergarten restaurant in the building. Made for a great end to the workday.

The place itself is really beautiful. My issue was that I was delayed in getting there due to the government shut down so everything was locked. I had already been traveling for 12 hours to get there. A perfect storm of circumstances including a tired traveler, pouring rain, two different calls to support with 20+ minute wait times and standing at the wrong entrance with a visible keypad but needing to go to the side of the building with a less obvious entrance. The person in the phone was kind and understanding.
I did not get enough sleep although the place was really quiet but I was in late and needed to get to my job site early. I left behind my AirPods which is my fault. Trying to retrieve them is proving to be a lot of hoops. My colleague is there too but I have to fill out a form and then weight for 1-2 days to recover them and then pay $60 to have them mailed. I tired and frustrated. Many hoops and AI Virtual Assistants that could not get me to a person in Skowhegan.
Again, when I finally got a real person, they were very kind and compassionate. The process is just clunky.

Accommodations were beautiful and brand new. Very comfortable. The only negatives were the very thin walls and a 300 lb. coffee table that had to be moved to accommodate the pullout sofa, resulting in a noise complaint from our neighbors. That said, management was very cordial in their communications regarding the complaint. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
