A great stay at The Boardwalk Hotel on Lake Anna
I decided to stay here while on business instead of a commercialized hotel chain that I typically stay at. It was very nice. I was a little thrown off by my "normal " routine of checking in, getting a room key, and being greeted by someone at the front desk, but the process of booking, following the instructions that were text to me and going to and getting into my room went flawlessly. Upon entering the room I was impressed by the amenities, the space, and decor. Everything was clean and kempt. The bed was comfy and the linens, pillows and comforter were spot on. Next door, there is a nice restaurant, an ice cream parlor, putt-putt golf, and boat & jet ski rental business. All and all I will probably stay here again. My only complaints or concerns are: The damage deposit of $250(refundable) or the $24.00 (non-refundable) was a bit out of the ordinary. Im typically paying a $20-50 refundable deposit so this caught me off guard. I enjoyed the shower but would recommend a different shower head.
