Has car? BEWARE - issues guaranteed If you are traveling with car, BEWARE!!! For the 2nd time in a row, I've had tremendous issues with parking. On this trip, Kasa forgot to include the parking access card. So, my car was stuck in the garage for 2 hours while they tried to resolve it. The resolution had issues, too. They assured me that they would reimburse the parking fee via gift card (to avoid complications with my corporate accounting). Of course, this is a lie. They reimbursed via the original method, so now I have 2 line items in my business trip. Will never return here. It's a shame, because the apartment is really nice. But HUGE MISTAKES two times in a row is unacceptable. -A

Don't book if you need to park car Business trip, needed a decent place to stay. Had issues with parking again. Missing access card, so was trapped inside the garage.

Place us exactly as advertised. Nice view and very accessible to all the fun downtown. If you notice anything missing, call or message right away as service is slow.

If I could cancel my reservation, I would (sadly, I opted for non-refundable option). 🤦🏾‍♀️I’ve never had a hotel (as this was advertised) deny a request to check-in early especially if there is a flight early AM. Inconvenience and inefficiencies are a huge a turn off for me; especially when it comes to tight timelines/schedules for work travels - every second counts. From this experience alone, I would never opt to stay at one of these properties again which is sad because I wanted to experience a local boutique hotel. Lesson learned. Staff was so sweet and communicative online which is why I gave 2 stars. Rebekah tried to help and followed-up which I appreciated. Thank you Rebekah!

For the tech savvy ... Instructions a bit confusing upon arrival. Key pad was not user friendly. Communication was excellent but still not in person; therefore it took a bit to get in and organized. Unit on 19th floor was dirty and furniture broken and glued, definately "weathered". Moved to 15th floor, much cleaner and nicer. Personnel are extremely welcoming, helpful and kind and responsive!

Digital key didn’t work. Digital box elevator out of work. 2 elevators for all the building usually blocked by workers. Waiting time elevator around 10min and no other option (16th floor) The apart doesn’t worth the rate, check out … box to drop the keys hidden behind a cabin (supposed to be on hand near the gate)… a very bad experience. No table and chairs… only basic cooking stuff.

Our Kasa apt was clean, modern, offered easy access to all the fun things to do fun downtown Austin!

If you want a full kitchen then the issues can be overlooked. But if you want a well cared for hotel room then go to an actual hotel. Weak and tear: The room was not designed to be a hotel. The place needs a totally repaint, it appears there were missing decorations from the walls but that sticky hangers marks were still on the walls, the bathroom cabinets were delaminating. Cleaning and maintenance: The room is not cleaned in the same way as traditional hotel. Soap scum and rust on the soap dispenser. The air filter doesn’t appear to get changed regularly as all the vents have moderate dirt build up. The front door handle bolt didn’t completely retract, some issues opening and closing. People are generally rougher on hotels than apartments and since the material were selected as an apartment, the place is worn. Additionally since it’s not cleaned daily and I doubt that there is as regular maintenance performed since it’s not a hotel, that too has contributed to the issues. That been said the bed was very comfortable and linens were clean. The kitchen was well equipped with pans and cutlery, it even had salt, pepper and olive oil. I really liked the everything about the place other than it was kinda rough and needed a deep clean.

The call box wasn't working to access the elevator, and there were times when the elevators had difficulty in reading the key cards.

Very nice property, although I am not a fan of the polished concrete floors; great downtown location, good view; living room furniture very spartan, but not a big deal unless you are planning on spending a lot of time there; separate card access for parking and elevators is a bit of a pain

Terrible check in process and little help provided by the staff here. Tried to check in early at 230 for a 4 pm check in and got denied. Got up to the room at 4 and housekeeping hadn’t been there yet. Rooms are a little cold w industrial feel and no carpet. Nice views though

The location, view, and amenities were all 10/10. There is free coffee in the lobby (bring your own cup) and if you need to work there are a couple of conference rooms. The view of downtown at 16 stories up is spectacular. It can be a little loud at night on the weekend (it is downtown, after all). I’m moving to Austin so this was a perfect jumping off point to explore. The check-in process required quite a few steps but was smooth, overall (just follow the instructions they provide for check-in). I’d gladly stay again and will recommend any friends who visit so so as well.

Romantic Couple’s Staycation We had the best time! Check in and out came with very detailed, easy to follow instructions. The unit was immaculate. The view is to die for. Walkable to my fave restaurants. Communication with management was superlative.

The security requirements to get in and out of the building and garage are rediculous.

Cool apartment in a great location, but the devil was in the details. Keycards were a total pain, very finicky. Only one keycard was provided despite having two couples in the unit. When Kasa delivered a second keycard 24 hours later, both keycards stopped working entirely. Pool access was advertised but a code for the pool gate wasn't included, so we couldn't use it. Concierge couldn't help us; they said we'd have to take all of those issues up with Kasa. Bathroom had two bottles of conditioner but no shampoo. Hall mirror wasn't hung, just propped up against the wall. Dining room chairs were wobbly and missing some sliders. Massive closets had just 3 hangers apiece, fine if you don't really need to hang anything. Door hinges squeaked like they'd never ever been greased. Room was equipped with a nice wine cooler, but it wasn't plugged in, so useless. All liveable problems, but annoying to deal with on vacation. A little more attention to detail would go a long way, Kasa. Stuff needs to work. TLDR; this place wasn't a flaming disaster, but it certainly was not a guest experience we'll willingly repeat.

Wonderful Airbnb experience overall. Very reasonably priced. Excellent location. Very clean and comfortable condo. Kasa did an excellent job of providing clear directions to access this downtown condo in a high rise.

This was a great property. The only thing that I would change would be a rug in the bedroom. Would have made it more comfortable.

This was our first Kasa experience and we would definitely utilize their services again. The property was well kept and the location in downtown Austin could not have been better for our needs. Check in and out was easy and customer service was just a text away if needed! Kasa has my vote of approval! We look forward to returning!

The property is great and located very close to everything downtown. Highly recommend the location. The building is nice and amenities are also great. I didn't like that someone had the code to our front door and someone walked in unannounced while my girlfriend was in bed by herself. That was extremely scary for her... Luckly the person walked right out when they figure the property was occupied. In any case, this is still completely unacceptable as she could have been undressed or in the shower and completely vulnerable. Safety is a huge priority and this needs to be looked into so that it doesn't happen ever again to anyone else. Unless we are reissued that this has been addressed we would never go back.
