Loved the location! Easy access to the lake, shopping and restaurants.

Promised Refund - then communication cut off This “hotel” was having major maintenance issues on the night I arrived. While the check in time is 3pm, I arrived from the east coast at 6:30pm. I was told that rooms were way behind schedule due to significant maintenance issues that would have the staff cleaning rooms until midnight that night. I was offered a full refund by the front desk person, who was extremely nice, especially given the situation she was put in! Here I am, a week later, and two emails later to The Guild email account and I have received NO communication from them, much less a refund.

Not a hotel but a nice spot anywat Only problem is this is not a hotel. I wish that was told to me upfront but this time it worked out ok.

Very nice building, amenities were good, staff was friendly. Check in was really frustrating. There was an hour and 20 minute delay which really threw off my afternoon. However, I was reimbursed parking fees for the inconvenience which was really nice. Only provided one key card and it was needed for everything. Access from parking, to and from building, up and down elevators.

Amazing location. Check in was really easy. We didn’t get a car so the parking was a non issue for us. The space was well laid out and there was coffee, a few condiments, and basic kitchen stuff. Plenty of linens and extra towels. Bed was really comfortable. Location was perfect! We were close to everything we wanted to do and many many restaurants and bars. It was only a couple blocks from the river walk trail so going for a run in the mornings was great! We would definitely stay here again.

The customer service was outstanding. It was my first time renting like this, so it was a little confusing at first. I almost missed some of the instructions. The apartment was super nice & clean - except for 2 roaches in the bathroom. But the

The space was great, a good balance between contemporary and homely. Simple conveniences and the amazing support from Ginger on the front desk made my stay memorable. As an over seas traveller I would love to see something like a USB charging point. Its hard to find converters in Austin for all of my british devices. Its the only downside from my usual preference of the line hotel. Maybe its something that could be an add on our upgrade as I appreciate putting this into every room is costly.

Parking was a bit of an issue when it comes to getting what we needed to park. Prior to the stay the communication was great. We texted to have the two vehicles registered that we were parking. However, when I got to the room there was only one sticker and no pass to get in and out of the garage when we needed to. We had to text back and forth throughout the evening to get what we needed. At some point, when I was in the bathroom, someone came in to the room and dropped a pass off for the garage but not the additional sticker we needed. I wasn’t pleased that someone just came in the room like that with no warning. I probably won’t use their service again.

Overall stay was fantastic. Excellent view.

Location and accommodations are great along with the room size. Could use blackout curtains in the bedrooms

Good price for the area. Good location. The room was OK. The bed was good. My second stay with the Guild and the issues are the same. Their instructions for parking, entering the building, working the TV, working the air conditioning are all poorly thought out. You eventually figure it out, but it certainly is not the same as a decent mainstream hotel. a little more thought on their part could go a long way.

No coffee cups in lounge. Had to bring cups from apartment. Very nice lady at the front desk.

I don’t recommend this property This was not a hotel and did not provide the benefits of staying at one. There is a very complicated check-in process and you have to have a background check to stay at the property. Overall for the price and accommodations I wouldn’t recommend staying here over a hotel.

This place was gorgeous!, just what i was hoping for. Great staycation for my wife's birthday. A lot of the reviews are complaining that there is no lobby or anyone to help and it was quite the opposite. Ginger let us into the building when we got there and welcomed us warmly. They were running a bit behing but she stored our luggage and offered us a free beverage while we waited and the room was still ready when she was done checking us in. Thanks ginger for being hilarious! The place was huge too. Its basically a 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony. Definitely recommend!

This was the first time staying and will definitely not be my last. The main difference is that there isn't a whole long check-in process. They sent me a text with instructions on how to get in the building/room with various codes without any assistance (I got in pretty late but during normal hours there is a very friendly person who is available for local recommendations too). They were extremely friendly and helpful via text if I needed anything before and during the trip. The location was great as I had a couple of meetings in downtown that I could walk to. I was really blown away walking in to the room, it felt like a modern apartment. Gone are the ways of carpet not knowing when they were last replaced! A kitchen area was nice, the nice couch area with a record player was unexpected, and a patio overlooking the city was beautiful. It was nice having it's own wifi router as well since normally hotel wifi is slow and spotty but this felt like I was at home with the high speed wifi. I was truly blown away with my experience. The decor made me feel like I was in a modern New York City apartment. The price was the reason why I chose The Guild but the experience really is going to have me look for other Guild locations wherever I travel next.

absolute best view of Austin! our room view was absolutely incredible. it will honestly be an experience i will never forget. I felt like a celeb staying on the 17th floor with and incredible view of the city and lady bird lake. Will definitely try to rebook every time! 5 stars!

Best hotel experience ever!! Great location, unbelievably clean, amazing furniture/beds, hotel staff was amazing!!

Overall experience was incredible. Arrived to the apartment not being cleaned and ready, but the management staff quickly rectified the issued. Communication was easy and they brought additional amazing locally roasted coffee. Location in downtown Austin was perfect for SXSW. Hope to stay there again next year. Only hotel amenity missing was a daily cleaning service. Not a big deal considering the circumstances.

Great location. This apartment had everything I needed for my stay in Austin, and more. The staff was amazing, and it was all very seamless getting in and checking out of the place. I will definitely stay here again.

Hidden Gem I'm almost afraid to say how amazing this place was because it may make it harder to rent in the future. It's not just the full kitchen, the full size washer and dryer, the stylish decor - the amazing location and beautiful vista...well maybe it is... The guild represents the modern age of travel - your very own, highly secure, technology savvy, fully loaded condo that you can rent inexpensively for short business or pleasure stays. Hotels beware - you've met your uber...

Beautiful apartment with awesome views! Easy self check-in, helpful virtual concierge, the room and building in general were very clean. Perfect place to stay if you're looking for anything from a romantic getaway to a fun-filled night in Downtown. Unbeatable value for the price! I'll be back!

Great apartment in Austin This was an apartment, so no maid service. But it did have a kitchen and was beautifully appointed. I was very pleased.

Albsolutely loved it. Great location too. Spectacular. The condo was immaculate.. had all the amenities I could have hoped for and was located seconds from all the best Austin has to offer.

Great location, rate, and stay! The location was awesome! Close to The W, and up the street from JW, but was a 1/4 of the rate of those hotels. It was pretty difficult to figure out how to get in, I suggest not bringing a car, and the North Shore staff wasn't friendly, but aside from that, it was a solid stay!

Better than the typical chain hotels This was first time at the Guild, and it was an excellent experience. While the Hilton Austin and other hotels were price gouging during a large conference, the Guild was reasonable. The apartment that I stayed at was impeccable. Clean, spacious, extremely comfortable with a full kitchen. The "virtual" staff (they are not on the premises) are extremely responsive- you just text them and they respond immediately, or you can call them. Very helpful staff. Fabulous location, quiet but close to everything.

Perfect weekend get-away We absolutely loved our stay here! The view was stunning. It was so close to everything that we were able to park our car in the garage and walk everywhere the entire weekend. We seriously couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Keeping it weird in Austin The location was great. It was in downtown at the end of the city. There are tons of great places to eat and see. The apt was amazing. I could have spent my whole time just in the apt!

No frills Great location this is a condo setup as a hotel. Highly recommended for extended stay. has washer/dryer full kitchen. if you give them notice they will stock the kitchen for you. We loved it! there is a great Italian patisserie across the corner. highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. we will use this service again

Our stay was amazing! Really nice and clean apartment, right in downtown, was in walking distance of local jazz/blues clubs and restaurants. Wonderful location. I received a text a few days before my stay to explain how everything works which was very helpful. The only suggestion I have is better communication around parking.

location this site was close to everything in austin. both 6th street and congress street bridge. south austin within walking distance as well

Very pleasant industrial style apartment in a great location. Apartment was spotless and quite comfortable.
