It was nice but needs tweaking Likes: Where it was at. The kitchen and washing machine. Very spacious bathroom Dislikes: The room was stuffy and there wasn’t a fan for nothing. Didn’t get the towels I asked for. Did have instructions for the tv when I asked they replied way too late.

Very nice property

I loved it! Clean, nice view, in walking distance of plenty of restaurants, there’s a store right next door. Even though you had to pay for parking, it’s one directly behind the building. There is also one across the street that is cheaper. I will definitely book again.

I suggest you do not judge a book by its cover!! Staff members are friendly, polite and welcoming!! The layout is amazing!! The VIEW is even better!! Also located right in the city by the casinos, walkable distance at that!!

Great location in downtown Detroit! 5 block walk to the Jazz festival and river walk area, 5 blocks to Greektown, great restaurants nearby. We will definitely use this on our next visit to Detroit!

Very clean and nice room. The view of the city was so pretty at night. Benjamin is friendly and helpful. Helped make our stay successful! The only thing that could improve would be better parking options.

I’ll think twice before staying in another no-contact hotel. I made calls and submitted forms to no avail: I got verbal responses but no action. Room smelled like strong cleaner had been left on floor, yet looked dirty. Only 1/2 roll of TP for two persons to stay 4 nights. When I asked for more, it was promised within 24 hours but not delivered. Three lids for saucepans, but only one (large) pan. No hand towels or washcloths. Requested, acknowledged, but never delivered. Many street people hang out near entrance, where there’s a 7-11. Police were stationed outside on Friday and Saturday nights. They were friendly and effective. Great location for jazz fest and Greektown, downtown and transit.

What an absolute horrible experience being moved to three different rooms and all of them had issues. We had four sleepless nights!

This place was an absolute disaster! Day 1: Room 203: Light is blazing from the street at night; there is literally a street light right outside your window and the window shades have several gaps. Imagine going to sleep with the sun shining in your face! A sleepless night! Day2 & 3: Moved to Room 704: Everything seemed OK, until you got on the bed! The ribs underneath the bed were broken and any slight movement on the bed made severe screeching squeaky noises. The bed in 203 was much better. I was willing to sleep on the mattress only, but this hotel has the worst onsite service! The owners live in California or Miami and they have to call someone in Detroit to come check it out. And the people they have locally told them there was nothing wrong with the bed even after we physically showed them the broken wooden ribs onsite; the main beam holding the ribs was also broken. Another sleepless night! Oh yeah, and they only had one roll of toilet paper; we asked for a 2nd one and they never came! Day 4: Moved to Room: 605 This bed was squeaking too, but not nearly as bad as 704. When we looked on the bed, there was hair there from the previous guest which made us doubt whether the sheets were changed or not. When we finally thought everything was going to be OK, we tried to turn on the bathroom and hallway lights and they would not turn on. After checking the breaker box, I found that one of the breakers was tripped and it would not reset. I contacted the hotel support and t

If you’ve ever lived in a city apartment you know nothing compares to Kasa. Everything you could need and more! Friendly faces and kind management made the stay worthwhile. The room itself was beautiful with a view unlike any other. Perfect location to explore the city and visit Comerica Ballpark! Nightlife as welcoming as a breeze on a sunny day! Only regret—I couldn’t stay longer. I did happen to leave two seemingly insignificant items in the room that hold sentimental value so, I’m hoping to hear back about them soon! Parking at Metropolis: One Detroit Center Garage was as easy as saying: “yes!” Not a worry in sight—amazing food, beautiful sights, unforgettable memories—no possibility of getting lost when they give you a map!

I had a great stay at this apartment in downtown Detroit. The place was very comfortable, spacious, and clean, with plenty of room to relax and feel at home. The location was excellent for exploring downtown, and everything I needed was within easy reach. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

The property is in a nice location, right downtown. Nice city view. Fairly clean. You will have to pay for parking.. And there's an extra fee, you pay and register to access the door code. I'm sure it was just a simple making sushi. Put my hallway in bathroom hat, no lights. Besides that, I love the property and would stay at me.

The unit was okay, It was clean but showed signs of wear. The bed had a noisy box spring or platform. It does have eating utensils and a washer and dryer which I didn't use. The floor rugs were not fresh in the unit. Also more towels would help. Finally some people do use face cloths. None were in the unit. I'd like to believe that this was a one off but there were people smoking pot and quit loud on the floor below mine. Night time personnel on the premises might be something to seriously consider.

Convenient location. Overall a decent place to stay. The beds and pillows were unfortunately not comfortable. Had a few minor issues that were responded to and addressed in a timely fashion.

Easy to find. Mostly clean - found some hair and stains on the bed/floor. Great to have the fridge/kitchen amenities. Close to everything downtown with cool parks nearby.

Lemme tell ya. This is the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Check-in was supposed to be at 4, with large fees to check-in early. Decided to just stick with the 4pm since I didn’t need to be at my event until 6. We didn’t get our room until 545. Great. 5 people staying, 4 towels provided. 1 with a massive rip in it. Pull out sofa was not great, plus there are no additional blankets in the room. One of the beds was fine. The other had blood on the pillow and sheet. Area has police constantly posted outside and there was a metal detector just right outside the 7/11. Stay anywhere else. I have so far been offered a $25 gift card to make up for the 90 minute late check-in.

Awesome experience in the heart of downtown

Cool stay overall! space was comfortable, temperature was great, and the location worked well, though it is definitely a busy area. Door access/security was a little hit or miss at times, but communication was fabulous. Anytime I asked for something, the team did everything they could to help. My room and the elevators did smell like weed pretty consistently, but that’s not something I can really put on Kasa. I love all things Kasa and will absolutely continue experiencing their properties in different cities. Grateful for the stay, the hospitality.

They cancelled our reservation 24 hours prior to our stay and cited “operational issues” meaning they double booked our room and sold it to a higher paying customer. We paid over $300 a night for a one night stay for a Tigers game. What a shady hotel. Would not recommend to anyone!!

I thought this was a dorm style hotel and it was so much more than that. The room I booked was similar to a mini apartment with everything we could ever need minus food of course. I was very impressed and would stay here again.

I would not use this hotel again for any future travel to DTW. The link is the only attendant with a code to enter the building. The security deposit is required at the final part of check in using the link. They also scan your ID. The process is lengthy and highly frustrating. The door remains locked without reception. There is no physical body in the building to open the door or help with any part of check in. The hotel room lacks essential items.

St01 Likes: Really good positioned close to downtown. Big spaces, nice apartment. Dislikes: Need to improve: must be more cleaned, in specific way the floor, some issues with code to enter that doesn't work well.

It was great and 7/11 store right next door don't miss it you can buy food and beer and the cops is always there I had a great time had to learn it but park your car and walk

The good: The virtual check in/out was pretty much flawless. Zero issues. The nearby parking garage was barely a 5 minute walk and felt secure, with a guard posted every time we needed to go to our vehicle. Rates for the were very reasonable. The room looked just like the pictures. In room kitchen and laundry was super convenient. Bed was comfy. The view of the courthouse was nice. The bad: cleaning left something to be desired. The decorative carpets on the floor with sticky to walk on. I felt gross walking on them so we pushed them aside and found old food and a piece of broken glass underneath. I feel like they haven't been cleaned in years. Walking on the bare floors turned our socks dark. There was a single half used toilet paper roll in the bathroom and no way to restock via the app (app said requests could take up to 48 hours to fulfill) so I had to go to the 7/11 downstairs to buy my own. The cleaning was by far the biggest disappointment. This part isn't the hotels fault but something future guest should know regardless: the city is loud at night. Difficult to fall asleep.

No blankets or sheets were initially provided for the sofa bed and no one came by to bring the blanket until the next day. The one blanket that we ended up getting had holes in it. Our friend had to sleep on the sofa bed without any bedding one night and then sleep with some raggedy blanket the next. It was a not great. Not having a front desk at a hotel is some private equity dystopian nightmare stuff and I've learned my lesson.

We stayed in July for 6 nights. Wasn't great or even close 1) Cleaning is not done properly. See pics. The grout in the bathroom was almost black. Had a red stain in the bathroom when we checked in. Under one of the beds, there were cereals, and it was kind of clear not from the previous renter. 2) Our very first night was very noisy. Not sure what was going on outside, but no one could sleep. The next day, I saw a lot of messages from Kasa telling me sensors in our apartment indicated noise coming from our unit. The last one threatened to keep the security deposit. When I replied as well as called, KASA staff wouldn't say, "Yes, multiple units reported noise, so you're not an issue." They kept claiming privacy and kept telling me we have your input!!! I wanted an answer as if our unit is the only one that reported, then the sensors in other units are not working, or in ours. But they didn’t. 3) There were three days when the temperature reached 90 degrees, our AC wasn't working as the temperature inside the unit was 82F when the thermostat claimed 64! Out of those 3 days, it was fixed on the third day (I was promised every day that it’ll be fixed). And the reason - a dirty filter that's blocking airflow! You got it - no one to clean anything there. 4) There were enough dishes, etc., but not for 4 people - the unit could accommodate 8 people, as we were in a 2-room unit. Imagine if all 8 people showed up.

Good place, just remember you're downtown and it can be loud outside in the evenings. Location was great for walking to the ballpark. The place was clean and the bed was really comfortable.

Great location as far as proximity to shopping, restaurants, and tigers stadium - much more affordable than nearby hotels! amenities were great - nice kitchen and laundry in unit! Very easy and clear instructions to get in and check out!

Kasa detroit stay Room was nice and clean. No complaints! Could stay here again. 7/11 downstairs was convenient
