Was a lovely apartment, very clean and with all amenities. I didn’t love that the lock didn’t have a deadbolt, and there were some signs of damage on the doorframe from the metal blocker - unable to tell if someone tried to break in or if someone just tried to open the door forgetting they had it extended. Either way, it felt a little unsafe. The property is close enough to walk to everything you’d want to be near in downtown Detroit so that was appreciated.

great value for downtown Detroit

Very bright and spacious accomodation with lots of good food and entertainment around. The building comes with a security guard and keypads for all doors, so felt very safe during the entire stay. The only downside is this lively area stays lively till the little hours of the morning, but Sonder provided us with white noise machines and earplugs to help. All in all, I would stay here again.

I loved how central it was in the town to just walk around and explore. The room was clean, the set up and view was amazing. I really loved all the extra tableware that was available. Would definitely stay again.

Likes: Excellent location. Easy check in. Dislikes: The floors needed a good cleaning.

Value for money is 8/10. Clean organized and almost fully equipped apartment. Beds are not very comfy, pillows are 6/10. we had a two double beds apartment, one bed was very noisy. I dont think anywhere you will stay downtown will be soundproofed enough to not hear the loud cars outside. The city should do something about it. Its a lot less scary or dangerous than everyone made it sound like. Mind your business and nobody will bother you.

The only thing I did not like about this place was about a month before our stay we realized that we had over booked it for one day extra & they WOULD NOT REFUND OUR MONEY!!!! JUST SAYING!!!

T'was lively Likes: Location. Price Dislikes: No hand soap No paper towel No dish soap The floor underneath couch/fold out bed wasn't clean. There were visible crumbs underneath the couch.

Detroit is a fun city to visit. I loved the location of the place. Likes: I liked the layout of the apartment and that the bedroom was separate from everything else. The staff, security, and clientele were all very friendly. I liked the view. Dislikes: Wifi wouldn't allow me to run some Zoom appointments that were really important. There was no cookware to prepare a meal. I had to clean a little bit in the kitchen when I first got there. I would have preferred the window into the bedroom could be blacked out for better sleep.

3rd time staying here and this place is ran down! They are not keeping it up properly. Won’t be coming back after this experience

Très bon séjour à Downtown Détroit Likes: Super emplacement, bel immeuble, vue agréable. La décoration de l'appartement est soignée, très spacieux et pratique Dislikes: Le bruit. l'insonorisation est faible, même au 9e étage pour Dowtown qui est très bruyant (moteurs, musique très fort,...)

I enjoyed my stay and visit to see Detroit for yhe first time Likes: Very convenient location to walk to destinations or catch the bus or Q line. Reasonably priced and clean property. I liked the window view we had of the building across and comfy bed. I liked having access to cooking and refrigeration in the kitchen as well the more eco-friendly approach with dispensers for soaps and diish cleaning supplies. Dislikes: There wasnt really anything. Just had to be careful when you walk out due to the homelessness in downtown Detroit but I felt the city had a strong police presence on the weekends

The Sonder Randolph serves our purposes well. It is located within easy walking distance of Comerica Park and on public transit routes. This location might not be for everyone, though. The area around the property is loud at night--lots of noisy traffic--but if you like being in the thick of things, it's for you.

sejour tres desagreable. Likes: l'emplacement est super. la cuisine est bien equipee (machine a caffe americaine, lave vaisselle, grille pain. Dislikes: l'appartement etait tres sale! Nous avons du soulever les tapis pour deplacer certaines choses et nous avons eu de belles surprises ! le canape lit est completement deffonce. Apres y avoir dormie 5 nuits je ne vous dit pas le mal de dos que j'ai !! C'est honteux! le lit pricipal est petit pour deux car c'est un 160 cm. Le triteur du lavabot de la cuisine ne marchait pas, nous avons donc du passer 5 jours avec l'eau qui n'evacuait pas et les dechets qui remontaient a chaque fois que l'on utiliser le lave vaisselle. Nous avons contacte le personnel qui nous a dit que quelqu'un serait passe mais en vain...

Extortive, coercive. We arrived at 1:45pm. Our reserved room was clean and ready to go. We checked in online via the Sonder app and were informed that a $40 FEE WOULD APPLY TO SIMPLY UNLOCK THE DOOR because it was before the official 4:00pm check in time.

Super cute apartment within walking distance to everything we wanted to do! The apartment itself was super cute and designed well with great some modern touches. The only downside was the living room sofa. In its sofa state, it's a little dirty and not comfortable for sitting; in its bed state, it's incredibly uncomfortable. I would have loved a comfier living space since we did use the furniture for movie watching and sleeping.

Giving it 5 stars because the apartment is excellent for the price. Good: - Apartment is large and has all amenities for a long term stay. Place is clean - 7/11 conveniently located right in the same building - Price and downtown proximity to many landmarks Not so good: - Location is a bit sketch. Nothing happened while we were there but there was a police presence with a metal detector every night right in front of the 7/11 store - Bed is a full and not as comfortable as a hotel one - Lots of noise from outside, but earplugs are provided

Decide for yourself! Likes: The location is great as you can walk to many nice places The studio was spacious with amazing view Customer service really helpful The bed was very comfy Dislikes: Stay away from the 7/11, DONT YOU GO IN!!!! So many junkies and homeless beside the entrence, I was scared to death.... don't do that same fault!! The keyboard thing at the door is REALLY bad!!! You can't hear any sound when pressing the buttons. Because of that, it took me like 5 times to get the code right and get in... So if you're in danger running for your life, you're basically dead because of that stupid device and it won't help you that you're a good runner! That beautiful view will change into the nightmare in case you're in the city during some festival and event as you won't get any sleep until like 3am .... After that, you have 8 hours to check out, so you just need a lot of coffee and something to do until 3 am as trying to fall asleep is a waste of time. In the morning, I found the noise cancelling device, it was too late. But still I tried the waterfall sounds at 8am to calm my nerves after the whole experience. The Apartment seemed clean, however in the morning I found hair in my bed, and some toe nails.... I was too worried to check more so I just stopped.

This was a great apartment in a good location within walking distance of so many restaurants. There were 4 of us sharing, and it was comfortable and spacious. The full kitchen and laundry were such a bonus!

Our hotel had mold on the the bathroom ceiling, stains on the headboard, and visibly dirty overall (carpets, couch, floors, etc.). Window treatments were not blackout, and the streets below were noisy at night. We had horrible sleep. Woke up at 5AM to what sounded like commercial leaf blowers, going for hours in the morning. Sonder customer support couldn’t move us into a different room and didn’t offer any other solution. We requested a partial refund and they initially offered $50 in credits. What a joke. Eventually got $75 refunded for our trouble but would not recommend Sonder to anyone.

Decent Likes: It was a very nice alternative to overly priced hotels. I usually stay at the athenium, but service has gotten less and less there. This was definitely no Athenium, but I also didn't pay Athenium prices and it was comfortable. Dislikes: The toilet seat was broken and the refrigerator went out. The toilet seat ended up being fixed the next day by the nicest repair lady ever! I was very disappointed in managements response to my accommodation request. I didn't want money, but did ask for a late check out of one or two hours. My request was rather brusquely and I would say rudely dismissed. They kept querying me asking if I was asking for money. I said no and further explained that I was seeking a non-monetary accommodation that wouldn't cost Sonder money. It seemed that they were pushing me to ask for money. I basically said if that's what you insist, sure. They said they'd give me a $50 refund in 7-10 business days. If I wanted money, I would have asked or asked that half or all of a day be taken off, especially for the inoperative refrigerator that I had food in that I threw away, This is a corporate misstep in my opinion.

Downtown access to everything!

Likes: Unabhängigkeit. Küche redlich ausgestattet. Kein nervendes Personal. App mit elektronischem Zugangscode für Hotel und Zimmer klappte gut. Dislikes: es dauerte etwas, bis heißes Wasser in der Dusche war (vermutlich Zirkulation ausgeschaltet).
