A good option in CBD in Detroit
Bit apprehensive due to mixed reviews, but we were happy with our stay on balance. Hotels are expensive in Detroit now so this was an economical option. Well equipped, clean and spacious (one bedroom apt) I was impressed with the cleanliness, the in room laundry set up and all the equipment. The provision of a kettle brought a big smile to my face! Comfortable bed too. The area is fine, close to decent diner and restaurants, 5 mins walk to Q Line stop. However, the 7/Eleven store does encourage some groups ‘hanging around’, but there is security in the lobby and we greeted folk politely, moved with purpose and had no problems. I would stay again. Also, very close to some of the wonderful old Art Deco buildings which you can go into.
