Best get away ever definitely recommend This was the best stay I've had ever. The room was so comfortable and the sounds of the city below was perfect for me. I would definitely come back every time I need another get away. The fact that I did not see anyone else during my stay besides the security guard was amazing. I loved the safety and comfort I was given. The kitchen was perfect and the washing machine and dryer were perfect.

Indeed a better way to stay This is the third time staying at Sonder’s. Good location. A guard 24:7 at the lobby. Apartment is great as usual. Very helpful communication regarding a garage to park. A 7:11 store is located on the block. Very convenient. Sonder is my first option staying at ten States.

Home Away From Home My partner and I came to the city for a quick getaway. Just wanted somewhere to relax in the downtown area. Sonder was a pleasant surprise! Perfect size studio for two - with everything updated and clean. The checkin process was seamless - although the keypad got stuck because of the cold. There was a security guard present to help so it worked out. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you!

Great location in a great building. But Sonder needs to do a better job at explaining the parking. At least when we went (between Xmas & NYE), there were lots of good parking options besides those they listed, especially because Sonder recommended SpotHero which DOESN'T allow in-and-out access. The other issue is that there's no one on the premises that can get you anything you meet need more of, things like towels, TP, etc. To get that, you have to text with an agent. My extras didn't arrive until 18 hours AFTER I requested. Not okay.

"White Christmas 2022" The apartment was clean, warm and cozy. It felt like being home. I was happy to find that I was so close to so much for food, entertainment and fun. It was well kept and so in a very private and well secured property. My first visit to Detroit was amazing and so happy I found Sonders. Will return and recommend.

It was different without a front desk & a actual person to communicate with so the check in process electronically was a first for me, but we worked through that..I was not able to use the quick key app on my phone to scan & unlock the front door of the building or our room door so I had to enter the 7 digit code each time(no biggie)Take laundry detergent to do your bath towels if your staying more than 1 night...You'll need to be somewhat tech savvy when watching television,it's wifi based for streaming...We werent 100% prepared but overall,it was a decent experience and would stay there again..

Great location with a cool view of Cadillac Square and the city. Close to all of the holiday festivities in downtown Detroit. Felt safe with the security on site. Within walking distance to Ford Field, bars, restaurants and the city market. Highly recommend and plan to stay in another Sonder next time we travel. Exterior keypad for entry needed work and management took care of while we were there.

We were happy with our stay. We were in town for a football game and the close proximity to the stadium and casino was great. Parking garage very close as well. We parked and walked the entire time. Check in was easy and the door guard was pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and clean. We didn't notice street noise being problematic. We didn't need a washer and dryer but the amenities were nice. It was plenty of room for us for the short stay. There were a couple restaurant/bars across the street that had good food. We would stay again.

Simplicity and Ease! Simply, they over-delivered! They brought a very comfortable experience to a hectic trip and provided a space I could both relax and work while not out in the city. The only constructive criticisms are that I had to re-align the blinds (you’re welcome!) and the shower seems disproportionately small for the beyond generous size of the bathroom. Thanks, Sonder.

Party Central The Sonder itself was very nice; however, the location of our apartment over the 7/11 right on the corner of Randolph & Cadillac was busy and noisy. There was drag racing each night, loud talking and partying on the street below, police and fire running up and down the street all night till 5 am. We could wait to check out and get back home to peace and quiet. It was definitely for younger people who partied all day and all night.

Perfect spot in downtown Detroit! I stayed in a king-size studio, and it was perfect for what I needed for my business trip. The parking situation was a bit tricky, and we had to pay $10/night at a nearby lot with no in & out privileges---so be mindful of that if you plan on coming back to your room often throughout the day. The building was difficult to get into as the key pad outside the front door often did not work, but we were always lucky to have the security guard let us in. Also, the mobile key feature on the app did not work with our door. Another thing to consider is the amount of noise outside the building. I live in an urban area, so city noise doesn't bother me----but if you are used to sleeping in the quiet suburbs, you might want ear plugs. Other than those technology glitches, the room was perfect, comfortable, and clean for a short stay! This location is also VERY convenient and close to tons of walkable stuff. I wish we had more time to explore! I would love to stay here again.

Great but Weekend Noise from Street Below The property is nice and clean. Great location to the downtown area, plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The Detroit Riverfront is very close. The only issue is the noise down below from the street. Even being on the 7th floor, the amount of cars that were basing and or playing music loud at the intersections on Friday and Saturday was really loud. So if you're up already, not an issue but if you plan to sleep before 1-2AM on the weekends, you might be bothered by the weekend party crowds cruising the streets.

To have been accused and held accountable for items that were not there upon our arrival is disheartening. With the inclusion of ice cream left in the freezer and what the Sonder concluded to be burnt food in the oven (which looked like a pile of feces), this should have been a clear indication that the room wasn't serviced to uphold the standards of the company. With going round and round with this company about items that were missing and lack of cleanliness, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone I was fond of.

Large windows letting in plenty of light and air with a great view of the county building. Centrally located, with almost anything you could need within a few blocks. Perfect apartment / perfectly located Many reviews have mentioned that there is a 7-Eleven on the ground floor which makes it super convenient to get things like water and snacks, but there is also a city market grocery store 1.5 blocks away that sells everything from fresh fruits and vegetables, groceries, and even wines and liquors. You can also walk to every downtown attraction quite easily. The apartment itself is really comfortable: large, newly renovated with a full kitchen plus a washer/ dryer...and the TV is hooked up to Roku so you can watch almost any show or movie you can think of. Great brand of hotel... I will definitely look for them in other cities from now on.

Not very far from the Marriott hotel, very well located, and above all much cheaper than the latter, larger, more comfortable, cleaner with a coffee machine, an equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer, washing machine crockery, crockery, TV, and free wifi (not like in the M.rr..tt hotel), etc... absolutely perfect (the only small negative point: a leak in the kettle)

I got to the property and the homeless man at the door knew the code and let me in the building. got to the room and the door was open and the sheets were ruffled like someone was in it. I called Expedia about the problem and that I wasn't going to stay there and want the reservation cancelled. I still have not heard from anyone about the refund. This property is so unsafe and would never stay there. the Police were around the building at all the time. so unsafe that I had to get a hotel down the street and had to pay last minute pricing. would like to be contacted about the refund and this property! Thank you...

Great, all things considered Great downtown location, if you’re an adult who can deal with panhandlers (if not, stay home). Check/in was a breeze, although we had to PAY for an early check-in, which was a first. Our 10th floor room was excellent, well equipped and clean. Saturday night was excessively noisy, being in the MOTOR City, but with earplugs it was fine. Pay parking was also excessive ($55 for Sat & Sunday in a garage), given the hotel cost. Location was very convenient to activities and public transport. All in all, a great stay - it’s clear Sonder is trying to make improvements, but can continue to do more to make the stay a top-tier one.

Excellente prestation Appartement propre, très bien équipé et idéalement placé. Le prix est plus que raisonnable pour ce type de prestation, je recommande. Le petit plus est le 7-11 en bas de l’immeuble qui permet de se ravitailler facilement

Solid place to stay Its a nice one bedroom apt. Spacious and full kitchen. No complaints here. Right in the middle of downtown. Bars and restaurants close by. Pull out couch was convenient. Everything was new and clean and security 24/7.

Not so far from Marriott hotel... but better and cheaper!
