Great property, very good communication. No cable tv was unfortunate.

I liked that if you needed anything or had a question they were just a text away also the keypad system and a full kitchen with every appliance one would need.

Enjoyed not having a check-in/check-out desk. Enjoyed the amenities (dishwasher/sink, refrigerator,oven, recycling, etc). Very convenient and enjoyed the high rise feel of the windows. Did not like that items were leftover from the previous stay, the remote was dirty, room felt hastily cleaned. Lots of dirt build up on top of the fridge.

Nice studio, great location but hard to sleep The studio apartment is generally in good shape and in a very convenient location, but the street in front is very noisy all day and night long. Also, the big windows have only regular shades, no blackouts.There are two streetlights in front of the apartment and between the light excess and the noise, it is hard to sleep.

I loved the amazing energy and excitement right there on the street below on Cadillac Square - more like Times Square - but the windows in the room did little to muffle the sound. Very loud on weekends. It was fine on Thursday night. I also think guests should be able to watch t.v. without being highly tech-savvy.

Vent ugh Check in and out was amazing! Vent on closet was full of dust and desperately needed cleaning and did behind the bed. Crumbs were visible.

Dangerous, Noisy and NO TV. This place LOOKS nice but it is AWFUL. It seems to be central to GreekTown and Campus Martius, etc, and it is....but at a terrible cost. It is across the street from the courthouse, which is where thugs and nobodies hang put from 2pm to 6am doing nothing but bumping music, starting fights, shouting expletives at anyone and everyone and harassing the police. Police try, diligently to break stuff up, but ultimately would probably prefer to remain alive and avoid the area for the most part. Even during an event free pandemic, hundreds of idiots would gather all throughout the evening causing trouble and NOISE. The windows are super thin and closing them is no use. There was drag racing all night, gunfire on Saturday night (directly outside) and police sirens, loud speakers and lights allllll night. The kicker is that while there is a lovely television...there is no actual TV!! You have to cast your device to watch tv which is a pain and the wifi sucks so its also...no use. The hand sanitizer at the entrance was simply tequila...rendering everyone in the place to gag whenever accidentally reaching for a cleanse. I will NEVER RETURN to this property because despite the comfy bed and the usable kitchen, safety is far more important. Watching tv on your cell phone made us feel like we were Camping, gunfire made us feel like we were in a warzone, and the noise made us feel like we were in a jungle. NO REVIEW WILL HONESTLY EXPRESS HOW BAD THE NOISE IS! The idiots om scootets is BAD.

This place was absolutely perfect!!

Our room was spacious and clean. We received an email that we’d have kitchen items to “get started” which consisted of a small bottle of olive oil, two packs of coffee for a four day stay and one tiny bar of soap. The location of this property is extremely loud and dangerous. My room was very nice, but I would never stay here because of the location.

This was a mixed bag for us. Having a kitchen is great as we have a food allergy and can prepare our own meals if needed. Having the 2nd bedroom for the kids also very nice and laundry was a nice bonus. Views were fun and security guard on premises was appreciated. Toilet did not work at first, thankfully ended up being an easy fix but stressful and time consuming. Getting ahold of customer service was ridiculous and took almost an hour (I tried 3 ways before I got an answer); plus about 45 minutes on and off hold to finally have a plan of action. We checked in late and were in limbo about unpacking and putting kids to bed until we could get answers. Very frustrating. There is always a benefit to having a Front Desk/Staff available onsite and that is not the Sonder model; I won't forget that anytime soon. The next morning making the kids bed the sheets had a ton of hair and lint on them that did not seem to be ours--changed the bedding with an extra set available in unit. The area we were in was very noisy at night and windows seemed very thin, building shaking and vibrating with passing cars, revving and music, could hear all of the louder conversations at street level from our 5th floor unit with windows closed. Being right downtown we expected some noise so that part is less about the hotel and more a note about location for anyone curious.

I love the fact that the property had full kitchens. And I loved that for the most part the apartments were very separate from each other and noises were not heard from one space to the other. However the outside noises were pretty loud

I have stayed at many Sonder properties in multiple cities, unfortunately The Randolph is the worst of them. First of all, cleanliness is the biggest problem for this location. The elevator is dirty, the bed linens are not clean, the carpet in the room is dirty, etc… Secondly, the location is very very noisy at night, especially at weekend nights. Thirdly, parking is a really pain for this location, there is no private parking for Sonder residents, you have to use public parking. If you are a long stay resident, plan your parking ahead. Next, there is a 24hr convenience store downstairs, a lot of homeless people walking around, and very noisy at nights. One of the great things i feel about this Sonder is the security staff are very friendly and helpful.

Do not stay here. We found a toenail in the bed in the first bedroom, along with an earring on the floor. In the second bedroom there were crumbs in the bed and hair underneath the pillowcase. In the bathroom there were pubic hairs on the floor. I contacted customer service who told me they’d refund me the days I didn’t stay, we left immediately, however we’ve yet to see that and were told that our refund expired less than 24hrs after we were told we’d receive one. We haven’t heard from them after we questioned how the refund could have expired less than 24hrs after it was supposedly given. As far as location, if loud bass and fights in the street keep you awake, or homeless people sleeping outside the door are an issue, I’d advise you to move on. You’re right above a 7/11 and across from a bar.

The apartment was well furnished and spacious. The Security Guard Team was helpful and considerate. The location was within walking distance of lots of restaurants and local events. Checkout was simple. The place was well stocked with the same essentials that you would find in a hotel even though this is actually an extended stay establishment that occasionally offers rooms for short stays when they have gaps in availability. However... The check-in process was a nightmare and took over an hour using their app and speaking to a call center that took 45 minutes of on-hold time to contact. The neighborhood was very noisy and dangerous. It is located over a convenience store that attracted homeless people and locals that insisted on interacting with us as we entered and exited the building. The surrounding road was used as a drag strip for racing cars that screeched tires, blasted music and wound engines till 4 in the morning. The floors were dirty, dusty, and covered in hairs. The pillow cases and sheets were clean, but the pillows inside of them were dirty and covered in hairs. The hemp carpet was dirty and covered in hairs. We tried to get someone to clean the place using the Sonder App but no one responded to the message or bothered to clean the room. The Sonder Company seems to have a great idea for hotel alternatives, but they have a long way to go at this location. We may give them another shot in another city, but this location will not get our consideration.

Property was really clean and a good amount of space...very comfortable and within walking distance of all the hot spots.

Super thin walls, you can hear everything. Lots of motorcycles at night and loud cars, every time the elevator dings you can hear that, you can hear and even smell everything neighboring rooms are doing. The bed was super uncomfortable and the blinds did not keep any light out. Finally, I couldn’t find the remote so I checked under the bed, and found a used tube of lube and other used items.

Rooms are incredible. So modern and such great design taste. Amenities were perfect too.

Very nice casual place.. However some updates need to be made in the furniture department, new couch, table and chairs also bed frames..

Great option in Cadillac Square near it all! From the online check-in to our departure, communication was easy and touch free. Though that felt a bit sterile, it was easy. Parking behind the hotel was expensive and we should have used another option; the Sonder's Randolph offered options via email and their app (which don't work very well together - redundant but fine). The room was clean. The bed bigger than we'd booked. The convenience of a mini kitchen was wonderful. The room we stayed in could use a few tweaks and minor repairs (shower door was safe but had an issue, for example). But again, this was a big room and very clean. The bedding was wonderful, better than that of a few other hotels (boutique included) where we have stayed downtown in the past couple years. We will return!

Mother in Law Stay There were noise issues during late into the night during our stay, and the room was very cold when we first got in.

Love love love I loved my stay here, I did not want to leave! It was supper clean and modern. The only downside is paid parking I paid 70 dollars for 2 nights

Tidy. Sanitized. Has all the amenities you need- utensils, plates, iron, fridge, washer,, drier etc. Location is good, walking distance to MGM.
