This spot was well kept inside. The only down part was that after the clubs/bars were closing you heard a lot of noises when the employees were cleaning up. The nice things is that they had earplugs on the nightstand if anyone needed them.

The elevator entryway was not very appealing, and there were occasional mini roaches. Other than that, the room itself was larger than I expected. We paid a premium due to the Comic-Con convention and multiple concerts in the area the same week. Conveniently located in Gaslamp. Parking is tricky to navigate so read the signs if you park on the streets! I paid $10 per hour after 3 pm. Structures don't allow in-and-outs.

Very nice place to stay and great location!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Check-in was easy, the host was responsive and helpful, and everything we needed was provided. The location was great, making it easy to explore the area while still being peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

The place was very clean, decent. The reviews I've read said it is noisy. That is very true. Not only is it noisy, it rumbles, and you could feel it. You are in the middle of late music tell 2am.

We had a great stay at Kasa! Everything was as described. The location was very central, but fair warning that parking for a reasonable rate is a challenge near here especially when Padres are playing.

Place is great and clean! There is a walking distance parking garage down the street that was about $15 to park. So if you arent driving its even better

プレチェクインを忘れたため、現地にて電話で対応して貰いました。 対応自体には問題は有りませんでしたが、メインドアの電子ロック設備に問題が有り、ホテルに入るのに一苦労しました。 また、ランドリー施設の場所が分からず、使用出来なかった事とテレビ番組を見ることが出来ませんでした。 ホテルの場所と広さには満足しましたが、上記に関しては残念でした。

I had a wonderful stay at Kasa and would absolutely stay here again. The room was exactly as described in the listing—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything was ready when I arrived, and the space looked just like the photos, which is always appreciated. Communication was outstanding from start to finish. Every question I had was answered quickly, and the instructions for check-in, check-out, and everything in between were clear and easy to follow. It made the entire experience stress-free. One thing that really impressed me was how quiet the room was. Even though it’s right in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, where 5th Street can be very lively and noisy on the weekends, I was pleasantly surprised by how little of that I heard inside the room. I slept great every night. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place in an excellent location with responsive hosts and an easy, hassle-free experience, I highly recommend Kasa. It was exactly what I was hoping for, and I’d happily book here again on my next trip to San Diego.

Very beautiful place to stay in and it’s in the middle of bars and restaurants. Very convenient to get this Airbnb . Host is very on top of communicating back whenever there’s a problem which is good

This was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve had. Our room was located directly above the bar, and the noise was unbearable. Loud music and people were shouting until 2 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. After that, the staff started moving trash bins and making noise outside, which continued until the morning. I brought my husband here for his birthday, hoping for a special and relaxing trip, but it completely ruined our stay. We did not get a single minute of sleep all night. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and restful experience. It looks much better in the photos than it does in reality. Upon arrival, it became clear that some of the furniture had noticeable damage, several interior elements were in need of repair, and the room had not been cleaned thoroughly: there was dust on surfaces and visible dirt in certain areas. In addition, the overall condition of the room gave the impression that it had not been properly maintained for quite some time. Due to the discrepancy between the advertised photos and the actual condition of the room, as well as the issues mentioned above, the stay was less comfortable than expected.

Took my girl out for the weekend. Place was awesome and we had a great time.

Great place to access The Gaslamp and Downtown. It has everything you need. If you are hoping for something more peaceful and a bit roomier, this is not the place for you. Easy check-in instructions and to the point.

Overall a good place to stay especially if you’re wanting the night life atmosphere right at your fingertips. Only real issue we had was every time we tired to enter the building I had to call customer service number to be let in cause the lock on the front door was not working.

The room is definitely cozy, to the comfy bed, to the kitchen & table they have, everything was great! You are over the bars but once you’re asleep you don’t hear a thing & Kasa provided ear plugs so that was nice! Thank you Kasa!

It was in a happening spot for sure. Memorial Day weekend. If you’re looking for a peaceful serenity type stay on a busy weekend it’s not for you. If you’re looking to be in a high energy fun local apartment feel with everything you need, besides parking: just be prepared to pay a little for parking. Metered street parking. I did end up with a ticket. There was some drugged out individuals who hang out in front of the hotel, just disturbing to see anyone in a zombie state in public like that. Kills the vaca vibe a little bit. The walls are thin but they supply a white noise sound machine and ear plugs to help with that. It’s perfect for college people or young people who want to party. A few years ago I would have been completely excited about it. I just realized I’ve officially grown out of that stage and it’s not for me anymore. I will say that it grew on me by the last of our three day stay. We felt like locals walking past the busy bars, shops and restaurants after picking up some pickleball games at the waterfront park (driving distance but close/courts also at the Hyatt and you don’t need to be a guest to use them as of now) to the door and elevator and peering out onto the street over the bar at all of the action below. The kitchen was well stocked, the sharps/cond. & towels were high quality. It was spacious and comfortable.

Great location in the Gaslamp Quarter and near the airport. A bit noisy at night with the bars nearby but nothing we couldn’t sleep through (and they provide ear plugs). The room itself was super cute and cozy.

The unit had a damp musky odor. The was a box of damp rid on the shelf in the bedroom, my shoes stuck to the floor in the bedroom and kitchen area. I cleaned the floor with paper towels. It was obvious that the floor had not been moped in a long time as it was filthy! The a/c was programmed to keep the unit freezing to keep the odor down. I would not stay here again.

Kasa was a nice find and stay. Good location and parking garage we used was close by. Its in a busy area but didn't think it was noisy at all or maybe we were just tired lol. Would recommend and stay again.

Cute spot. Lots of things to do nearby. About a 5 minute walk to petco park. My only complaint would be parking, there’s no onsite parking so we parked at a local parking garage a few blocks down. Sometimes these garages can get full especially if there’s an event going on.

If you are traveling by yourself, and you just want a place to sleep in and convinient, this place will work for you. It is close to where I am supposed to go for that time, couple blocks away from petco park and train station, and it is right in the middle of Gaslamp district, which is a party scene. Literally, in between two bars. The downside of it all, it gets loud at night (though they are nice enough to provide ear plugs). When you go inside the building, it stinks and floor is dirty. The room size is decent, for a 1 person. The rug that they have looks dirty. It has all that you need in the kitchen. i think the biggest safety issue I have is the lock. It uses an electronic keypad, but be careful because it doesnt automatically locks on the outside. you have to turn the inside lock correctly, so it locks on the outside. Double, triple, quadruple check. It does have the bar lock on top, but considering it is in the middle of a bar scene,be extra careful.

Really nice place! One night was really loud because of the live music downstairs, but the other night was a tolerable noise. So it just depends if you have a loud night or not! Great for a quick stay in the middle of the action.

The photos of the space did not at all match my room. My room turned out to be much smaller than it appeared in the photos. The bathroom was also extremely dingy and there was mold growing along the outer edge of it. Finally, the building itself is not in the best state.

Avoid at all costs. Zero soundproofing makes the room unusable. Forced to check out early and incur double cost of stay - there’s nothing Kasa would do to remedy.

If you’re sensitive to loud music, you will hear it faintly in your room from the downstairs bars. Other than that, it was a good stay for the price.

The host was communicative and the check-in process was easy! Unfortunately after checking into the unit, we decided not to stay at the property. Im not leaving bad review because nothing was necessarily wrong with the unit, there were simply a couple things that made us feel unsafe. As two women, we decided to trust our instincts and get a hotel nearby. Since we cancelled day of, we did not get a refund, which we totally understand. The location is great, which seems to be what much of the price reflects. Not bad overall, just wasn’t the place for us!

The street noise comes through even with the double paned windows. But Kasa supplied us with ear plugs, which helped. And the location was great, so it was worth a little noise. The room was clean and comfortable.

In the heart of downtown. Good deal

The charm of the space and the Gaslamp Quarter in general was a deviation from the norm. If you’re looking for a typical hotel stay with a common area and some amenities, this ain’t it. If you’re looking for a decent place to sleep that serves the purpose, is right smack in the middle of the restaurants, bars, etc…this is it. Cons- - a bit hard to find. Hint-it is directly above the Cuban food place, beside the El Chingon Mexican place (great fajitas btw). Entry door is directly between the two. -There is not enough hot water capacity to last other than a “soap up and rinse”. -bed was comfy but uncomfortable somehow at the same time? IDK. It slept reasonably well enough but I did wake up a bit sore both mornings. -Paid parking situation was a bit of a pita. “Park it on Market” is your best bet. Easy to get to, overnight parking, ran about $20/day. Other than that, nothing to note as far as sub-par. It was convenient. It was enough. We had a great time.
