Nous avons passé un très bon séjour (10 jours au total). Les chambres sont très bien équipées, tout y est ! Il y a même Netflix sur les télés ;) la literie est top, nous avons super bien dormi. Idem pour la cuisine. Très bien équipé, c’est très pratique pour se préparer à manger. Des machines à laver sont à disposition mais elles ne sont pas gratuites. La localisation est top pour se déplacer partout dans la ville à pied ou en transports. L’arrivée dans les lieux est vraiment très facile car toutes les étapes sont précisément expliquées. L’équipe répond très vite au moindre message et ne vous laisse pas sans solution. Petit bémol mais qui n’a pas été un problème finalement, notre chambre donnait sur l’arrière d’un restaurant, nous entendions la ventilo de la cuisine nous imaginons. Mais le soir, nous étions tellement fatigués que nous avons fini par l’oublier !

Great place!! Room was very cozy, bed was extremely comfy, Kasa team was very responsive and accommodating throughout the trip, and the location was also fantastic.

Very clean and a good place to stay! Next to a lot of good places to eat and places to visit! Only thing is it can get pretty noisy at night so it disturbed my sleep a couple times. Other than that everything else was great!

Check in was pretty straight forward just following the emails and texts. Rooms were nice and had everything I needed for the night. There's a nice kitchen and eating space. I would stay again

Great space, super clean, comfy and pleasant, great location as well. The shared spaces are incredible, we were able to use the kitchen to prepare our meals every day, and it was well equipped and clean. Other guests were polite and respectful, wearing masks while not eating and cleaning up after themselves. Truly inspiring culture. The checkin process was a bit complicated compared to other locations on airbnb, but nothing discouraging. As soon as we were able to connect with the Kasa team, they helped us all the way through, even finding a place to leave our bags a few hours before the check in. Because everything is made online, I would recommend that new guest try to check in in advance, and remember to take note of the confirmation code and the key code to the room, especially if you are mid travel and don't have easy internet access on your phone.

Super clean & amazing communication

This was a good overall value. Minimalist hotel. Clean. Good location. Minus one star for inability to restock any supplies during your stay. We ran out of toilet paper and had to go buy some from the store. Only one towel provided per person, which may or may not be enough for you. Radiator also loudly clanged sporadically around the clock, sometimes in the middle of the night.

The price is right not to far from china town and downtown.

Great place to stay. If one wants to use the laundry on site, it’s quarters only!

Nice place, clean and super secure

We really loved the location of this place. We were thrilled it was so close to North Beach and MOMA. I felt safe the entire time. Although the check in wasn't ideal (the room wasn't clean), I really appreciate how quickly the team worked to remedy the situation. That speaks volumes and they were super kind and patient. Other than that the room was the perfect size and so cozy.

Very central position, the availability of a fully equipped kitchen is a big plus. The host is very quickly responsive to any request or problem and the cleaning standards are perfect.

Loved this place! I'll come back.

Clean and quaint place to stay in the city. However, location was a little sketchy at times especially at night.

One of the easiest check-in and checkout I have ever used, clean bright and comfortable room. Was able to do zoom calls for work on the WiFi with no issues. Plenty of restaurants and bars and only a few blocks from the mall and shops. And the price was the best part.

This property is really clean and well-kept! The communication from Kasa was clear and friendly, and the check-in instructions were easy to follow. There was a mishap with first room I checked into where there were no linens on the bed (but room was otherwise spotless). Apparently there had been an issue with the linen service not delivering. Kasa quickly moved me to another unit, so it was no big deal. Because this is an older historic building in a very busy part of downtown, the room got a bit noisy - some earplugs would have been really nice.

My stay in Kasa was a great experience. The tech-enabled, self check-in and self check-out experience was perfect for a young professional, visiting San Francisco for work. I could walk to FiDi, Union Square, Lower Nob Hill, Salesforce Garden, all within 30 minutes. One of the other reviews highlighted that there is no luggage storage here, but I got very fortunate with messaging concierge about check-in and was able to drop off my stuff 30 minutes early. Look forward to my next stay in Kasa.

Great value

Fabulous place! Outstanding! Felt like a studio apartment, especially due to the full kitchen and dining/living room area in the lower level. Staff was responsive (by text). Virtual check-in was simple. The cleanliness of the unit made us feel comfortable. The bed/linens were also amazingly comfy.

Its a small room, clean, good location

It was super clean, and an accurate description of the airbnb. I had no problems checking in. The bed was super comfy and I loved the old school elevator. I enjoyed it, and it was perfect for our weekend stay!

Expect a bit of noise since it is located in a busy street, and not a lot of soundproofing but we overall had a lovely experience.

Great place to stay for a long-term period. I would definitely repeat!

The room itself was clean and tidy. However, there was no sound insulation. You can hear everyone outside and above your room, and the street noises are very disruptive. I’m a heavy sleeper, but even I struggled to get a restful night of sleep due to all of the noise. The radiator also made a lot of sound while I slept, and the room was very cold. There was also a very brisk draft in the room (I think one of the windows don’t shut correctly) so it was very chilly. Bathroom is small, but the lights kept flickering throughout my stay. Neighborhood itself is also unsafe. It’s a few blocks north of the Tenderloin, and I would not recommend the area. The unit is small and well kept, but I will not be staying here again in the future.

Overrated On the plus side, the room was clean and the location of the hotel near Union Square was great. The common area in the basement is a great feature. On the minus side, the room was small and very basic - no clock, no tissues, and no ability to control the temperature (hot water radiator). Checking in took 2 hours. I had asked for a quiet, upper floor room. We were assigned the 3rd worse room in the hotel - on the 1st floor at the end of the short hallway (6 rooms on each of 6 floors). Upon entering the lobby, I called and asked if we could get a higher floor (there is no receptionist). We were promptly assigned to the 6th floor. It was quiet; I believe only 1 other room on the floor was occupied. Everything is electronic. We received the code to the new room promptly. However, it took 5 people, 5 phone calls, multiple texts, and 2 HOURS to get the correct code to be able to access the exterior door to exit/enter the building! I asked for some compensation and received a $35 credit on the bill (less than 5%).

Nice, small rooms, perfect if you'll be out and about most days. Fairly easy walking distance to a lot of fun spots. Check-in is a breeze, and the public lounge downstairs is a nice place to relax/grab some coffee!

Ok… after your visit you‘d wish there was a Kasa in every city! Given that I stayed almost two weeks, I wanted an affordable place as I’m hardly in the room all day. I didn’t expect much luxury but surprisingly my room was so comfy and big that I loved staying in occasionally when it rained, which was like 2 days out of 13! In the evening I made ample use of the tv including Netflix and co. I made plenty use of the well equipped and modern kitchen in the basement where you can store your groceries in the big refrigerator. I loved the free Coffee and luckily the capsules come in different strengths from light to medium to dark. Two coffee machines are provided. I never cooked rather enjoying eating out but everything is provided if you wish to. The living room and the dining tables rounds the basement up. The washing facilities are right next to it. I also have a small dog and she was very welcome and didn’t cost me a fortune. I don’t understand hotels that charge $30 and up for pets. The area is not as bad as I thought . There are homeless throughout the city so don’t be afraid to stay here. Walk down three short blocks and you are in Union Square. There are some very good restaurants nearby. I very warmly recommend Kasa La Monarca!!!

Great place, very clean and perfect location. A bit reduced in size for the price but I suppose that’s what the SF market dictates. Check in could be an hour earlier and check out an hour later but regardless, I would rent it again if available. Thank you for hosting us.

Large, pleasant and clean room. Location was central for museums, stores and Chinatown.

Place was alright. Not a lot of privacy, and no Air conditioner or fan in the room. There was a lack of airflow, and caused me to get congestions.

I had a few issues with check in and maintenance. But overall the location and the stay was great.
