As was mentioned in another review the AC units on the building next door are pretty loud with the window open but it’s a nice place especially with the shared kitchen if you want to cook your own meals!

very central to everything. clean. noise level is bearable. the heater noise stops at midnight and I was not waken. water pressure is good to me. the only downside is that my window ia tiny and it's very dark without the light on. Overally speaking it was a pleasant staying experience! Avoid Tenderloin! There could be sketchy people.

Very nice place, competitive price! Bed is extremely comfortable and location is perfect. One bad thing I’d say is that there’s no AC in the room. Otherwise the customer service is awesome. I recommend ! Ylan

Good location, good room, and solid deal.

Location gives great access to public transit, but the area is a bit rundown. For an affordable place to stay that makes it easy to get anywhere in the city, though, this is a great option. The room was nice and the communal spaces were bright, functional, and rarely crowded/used by other residents. Check-in and check-out were contactless and very simple. I wish towels/soap/sheets could have been restocked during our long stay.

Nice, clean, comfy spot. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and breakfast cafes. Short walk to a bus stop and union square where we caught the bus to Golden Gate Bridge. Host is friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Great time.

Did not return calls regarding parking, so had to cancel last minute due to not having sufficient parking.

Decent place for the price, got a little hot at night with the place not having any AC so def keep that in mind!! The location was nice a lot things near by but pretty sketchy to go out for a walk at night, lots of homeless people.

Beautiful apartment, very clean, light full, excellent location, all the facilities, I would definitely come back and stay here! Very very recommended!

Great location. Great communication from Kasa. Good value for the price. Only downside was, the heat in our room was constantly on, although we had the meter on zero, so it was warmer than we liked. No A/C.

This apartment is exactly what is shown. It’s a great location very close to the city, and has a seamless order of check in operations. Would definitely stay here again!

Common areas were very nice and clean. Room was well stocked with supplies. No ac but wasn’t too bad.

Pretty good spot, shared kitchen was a bit of a surprise and there wasn't a thermostat (and opening windows could be a bit annoying due to loud mechanical sounds from a nearby ventilation system). Fine value though and communcation with Kasa was very good.

Easy check in and stay. Very clean, cute building. Overall comfortable stay. Parking was a bit difficult and the downtown streets are a bit noisy in the early morning when they do street cleaning or trash pickup. We had a great stay.

The location of the place is great, right next to Nob Hill. Walking distance to the Fisherman´s Wharf and more sights. Otherwise, it´s super easy to use buses, stops are all around. Be sure to check the Caffecito coffee place for breakfast and the Pharaohs for dinner. The very best spots we´ve found. :) The room is very spacious and clean, the only thing is that it´s a little bit dark as the only big window faces a wall. Plus, if you like to have your windows open during the day, you may wanna know that this place is super close to a Chinese restaurant and every day at around 10 AM they start cooking and the only thing you get through the open window is a super strong smell of grease. :( But that was really the only downside. We really appreciated the community area downstairs (complimentary coffee, enough space to cook, work etc.) and laundry in the building. There´s money changer in it too. Overall it felt nice, comfortable and quiet, recommended!

This place was really nice! I stayed for a week, and it had everything I needed! The communal spaces were super great when I wanted to eat in. It’s in a great part of downtown so everything was extremely close (just get ready to walk some hills). The only downside was parking, but I imagine any place you stay in that is in the downtown area of a major city will be awful with parking.

The hotel isn’t in the best neighborhood in SF. Also, the walls are very thin so we had to be extra quiet and the noise in the morning from the street is HORRIBLE! Other than that, the room was clean, looked like the pictures.

Great find. Super clean— safe neighborhood and nicely decorated. The one issue I have is that the detergent they use to clean the linens is so strong in odor. Most people would love that but I’m so sensitive to smell.

Pros: +centered location walking distance to China town, union square, minute drive from Golden Gate Bridge and fisherman’s ward +Nice size room for SF +communal kitchen and laundry +restaurants are walking distance Cons: Homeless everywhere especially at night our Lyft told us to not go after sun sets +No one there to problem solve issues I contacted them about my bathroom that was leaking every-time we flushed (ewe) and it moved when you sat on it. I was told they would come address it and no one ever did (we stayed 3 days) +Construction during our stay. They were literally drilling things during the weekend starting pretty early. Very unpleasant +No parking lot. We were told there were public lots but most were closed. I’m handicapped and we found metered parking in front of the unit because we got lucky but if it wasn’t for that you will have to move after a certain amount of hours +Tenants and workers are very unfriendly. while I was cooking they came to fix the garbage disposal and didn’t communicate just stood there staring at me. I moved and I asked if it was ready so I could wash my dishes. They said 5 minutes it will be ready. Didn’t even have the common courtesy to tell me they were done they Just left. Tenants are also very rude and will give you a stink eye for using the kitchen even if you buy your own groceries. Even though I used the kitchen at 7 am to avoid contact with others. They seem upset that non tenants use the facilities but the listing says we could. So I’m not sure why they were so hostile or maybe they should mention to Airbnb renters that the facilities are off limits Over all it was a nice place but for the amount I paid I would have expected a better experience

Fantastic stay right in the middle of San Francisco. The Building is clean and quiet (and right next to a delicious Korean BBQ restaurant). The check in instructions were super simple and the room was simple, yet stylish. Very happy with all the amenities. A top notch experience.

This place is great! It stays cool during the day, is quiet, and has wonderful amenities. The community features are very nice. I recovered from surgery here and could not have asked for a nicer place.

Our stay in Kasa was amazing! We visited San Francisco for the first time and stayed on this beautiful room. It was very pretty, clean, quiet and the view and location were outstanding. We definitely recommend the place. Communication and availability from the host was great and we would absolutely come back to Kasa. Kasa/ Casa in Spanish means home and that’s how we felt during our stay. Thank you very much!

This room is a great find in SF! It’s a very convenient location, very close to Union Square and lots of food options. The street it’s on does get pretty loud very early in the morning, but that just comes along with being downtown. The walls in the hotel were also very thin so we could hear other residents loud & clear at some points during our stay. Overall, a convenient and clean place to stay!

This place was in a great location. I got around San Fran very conveniently and ran into great bars/restaurants. The place was relaxing & perfect for my stay. The plumbing was a little weird but despite overall it was great!

I stayed at La Monarca with a friend and was really happy with the experience! Check-in was a breeze, the room was really clean, and I loved the interior. The price was unbeatable for SF too!

Great location and very clean. The heat/ac unit made a really annoying squeak every once and awhile but we slept through it fine. The kasa company was kind of annoying. They texted multiple times a day every single day. That part was annoying.

Great place in a PERFECT location, with an endless amount of restaurants and attractions nearby to keep you busy for an entire trip. Service was very friendly and timely, we ran into some issues early into our trip and they were more than happy to help make everything right. 5/5

Great idea and great execution. Stayed in our Kasa San Francisco, working remotely and it went without a hitch. Big room with a table to work from, no issues with internet (we require high speed for video conferences) respectful of quiet hours, and proper social distancing in place. Nice touch was the mini fridge and microwave for our groceries when we didn’t eat out. The value of this Kasa enabled us to take advantage of remote working and enjoy SF. Would very much recommend to others.
